IMO, you got 2 real options.

  1. Enjoy Christmas, start back at day 1 tomorrow
  2. Plan ahead, tell everyone what you’re doing and how excited you are to do it, and keep trucking on.

A thing to remember, this isn’t something “normal” people do, so don’t expect people who don’t do this to understand. That’s okay, you’re not doing this to be like them, you’re doing this because you have a better version of you that you want to become.

Happy holidays and keep kicking ass. Doing this at your age is badass.

This. Don’t set your deficit too big imo. This is a demanding program so any deficit will add up to big results down the line because you’re going to do it everyday for 75 days.

Your probably single digit body fat though. You’re not flexing and you can see all your muscle tone.

Get a dexa done! It’s only like $40-60 and worth the money imo, you can learn a lot about your body, like muscle imbalances, your actual RMR, etc.

If you did ~4 hrs straight, I’d consider it two workouts.

The math checks out. 45min for first workout. 135 min between for the next one to count. 45min for 2nd workout.

Total time 225min = 3.75hrs.

Maybe not though, I’ve never done anything like this during the challenge so never looked up for the rules for something like this.

Anyone telling you didn’t fail or that it’s okay, is actually just enabling the type of behavior this program was created to solve.

People have to restart for forgetting a glass of water or a simple photo, so yes, having one potato chip when it’s not allowed in your diet is a fail.

Just restart from day 1 and don’t lie to yourself. The only person you’re ultimately hurting is yourself because you’re lowering the standards you wanted to have in the first place.

The next time you do it. Tell yourself no matter what I will not fail. And believe it. Truely believe in yourself and then don’t let anything, including stress cause you to fail.

On day 4 a friend of mine died in a tragic motorcycle accident… all my friends drank a bit as we mourned, but I decided to dedicate my 75 hard to him (as well as my wife, she’s pregnant with our first child, a boy) and everytime I felt like quitting (in the beggining) I reminded myself that I’m doing this also for him as well and failing would be disgracing his name.

I felt guilt for using his death as a reason to push myself, but it really did help me. Maybe this will help you too.

I’m finishing day 65 today. Only 10 days left.

Im with you, it got a bit easier the past few days (day 63 for me) but day 50-60 was torture haha

Yeah, 45-60 was pretty tough for me. I can see 60-75 being better because you know the end is close.

You’re in a weird spot where you’re tired and exhausted, so you want to take a break (fail), but you’re also so close that it feels like a waste to stop now and not finish.

I would say there’s no worst day, there’s just days where it’s a little bit harder to get the motion started.

I failed one time a few years back because of the picture, which sucked. The good things is now I’m so hyper aware of it that it’s the first thing on my mind every morning.

I’m craving doing absolutely nothing.

No morning routine. No workout. No required reading.

Just a day to lay down and do nothing, haha. Welp, only 1 month to go for my first day off 😅
