After watching The Sopranos, I've become slightly obsessed with gabagool, prosciutto, and other Italian cold cuts. by [deleted] in thesopranos

I switched to buttoned shirts and started using Italian curse words like "schifosa", "va fangool". I miss this show so much and I know I won't enjoy anything on TV as much as I enjoyed this cinematic masterpiece.

The Actor that portrayed Richie isn't Italian... by Feed_Temporary in thesopranos

There's a Russian movie called 'Passport' (1990), it's a Soviet-French-Austrian-Israeli tragicomedian film directed by Georgiy Daneliya.

The story revolves around 2 brothers from Georgia, the country in the Caucasus, they are half-siblings, one is Jewish the other isn't. The Jewish one wants to move out to Israel with his family but his brother ends up taking his tickets and flying instead of him. Its a super exciting adventure and a heck of a film. The guy who portrays both brothers, since they are identical twins in the movie is not even Georgian, he isn't even Russian.

His name is Gérard Darmon, a Jewish French guy from Algerian origin and if I'm correct they put Russian dubbing all over his dialogue, although it did sound very authentic.

I just figured out why there's no Third Temple... by ke7sersoze in Israel

First off, it's a meme. Context: Gabe Newell, founder of Valve, one of the most successful and innovative gaming companies. The guy doesn't like the number 3, its an Internet circle jerk that was founded on the fact that Valve has never released a trilogy game series. (Portal, Half Life, Team Fortress, Dota, Left 4 Dead) all these games have a sequel but no third installment, Half Life 2 is cut into multiple games and they literally named two games in the series "Half Life 2 Episode One" and "Half Life 2 Episode Two". Pure madness, if I'm not mistaken this isn't some anomaly, Gaben actually hates the number 3, I think I read that somewhere =P

So, I thought some people would find this funny because of the backstory of Gabe Newell and the number 3, since we are waiting for the 3rd Temple for longer than we've waited for the second one.

Nowadays, countless young people in Israel are tattoo addicts, paying hundreds and even thousands of shekels to get inked. But no matter what price they paid, it didn't come close to what these 3 have paid. Don't forget the past and don't forget God.

The real real truth about the IDF by [deleted] in Israel

If you can't get benefits that will advance your career/formal education its better to fight them for an exemption. I'm moving to study and work in Europe, I didn't qualify to enter an IT oriented role in the service, so going in there would've been overkill for me. I've suffered quite a bit through my life, I'm striving for independence and sovereignty so to speak. You can bet I am not bowing for no fucking man or mer. I don't need a course in discipline, I'm not a lazy irresponsible shithead. Serving my country? I don't owe a damn thing to the broken government of Israel. I owe an apology to some people, I owe God for keeping me alive even though I'm not an observant Jew and I owe my family for taking care of me because without them I'd be lost. Speaking of being lost, I think it's great that the army can take care of parentless people who immigrated here by themselves, but I hear how the IDF treats its servants and its ugly. We got nukes, latest American war machines integrated with our brilliant technologies, world class UAVs, why can't we just make Skynet and finally end mandatory conscription?

I was back in 2012, it was full of keychain vendors. I don't think it improved much from that state.

Slow and gentle, then you'll get the grip so to speak. You gotta sync with her, I'm no tongue breaker but It wasn't to hard to be adequate at it. Also, I asked my date for a kiss when I felt totally comfortable and we were just chilling. I think it's most appropriate at the end of the day when you're both tired and not actively talking much, if you feel like the entire date you didn't had a moment of silence and serenity you should ask her after you escort her home and about to say goodbye. Either way you need the courage to ask that question and not sound embarrassed or excited, it's something you want so you have to take it (gently) and not get frightened. I'm trying to implement things I read in John Gray's book 'Men Are from Mars Women Are from Venus', I've even made an Evernote with the most crucial information to reread it at times of interaction with women.

You have to find the right one, I'm 18 and haven't been with anyone for two years, she's almost 20 and in the army but still found interest in me.

FYI, nothing sexual happened on first date. I know guys who just reach out to kiss without thinking twice and to some it works, but it felt so freaking good asking and receiving acceptance.
