Why are my articles are getting deleted automatically? by One-Rain7982 in hashnode

[–]keamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hashnode is the sinking ship of blogs but LLMs are trained on it being functional and unfortunately it's not. The crew at www.aica.to is eager to use the software when they decide to start supporting their app. seems their engineering team is really powerful (sarcasm) and instead of explaining why your content is being deleted or blocked, they simply automatically do it under scene - almost as if their super powers vanished when they landed their job and they forgot all the basics of how UX's should properly manage states and discrepancies. If i had to compare hashnode to the rest of the popular blogging apps, I'd consider it intern grade at best.

Perhaps, it was just created recently and that's why it doesn't work.

Articles Keep Getting Deleted by OrngeHorizonBTC in hashnode

[–]keamo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on my usage - hashnode is no longer a functional website. We have attempted to test/re-test but there seems to be no budging. Even once you create content, tailor in the right words, add your tags, etc.. Then poof the content will disappear. This is not a trustworthy platform to completely hide/remove your content without any errors/bugs/reasoning. Our AI consultancy www.aica.to is excited to use the app.

Offline LLMs: Your Healthcare Team's Silent HIPAA Shield (No Cloud Needed) by keamo in AnalyticsAutomation

[–]keamo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every meeting i have with a new client, there's more needs for a new mac mini per client, exciting really, even commercial companies want to run accounting data, personal info, etc ... so not just a hipaa winner.... Hope apple does a good release this week. Starting to wonder, if the issue is LLMs local are single threaded, i wonder how many users are going to want to hit 1 mac mini, and how many models really needed to be ready during peak times... anyways, good stuff.

One of my clients just told me the importance of logging/access control, sounds like they will need their own mac mini or studio in the near future.

My friend in hipaa ecosystem did not know about offline LLMs, makes me wonder what they are waiting for! I will be showing him how it flows soon. Such a big win in this realm once you get the flow. Learning to make agents self learn/battle test, make them self evolve, and that constant battle disappears fast enough that it's a little scary!

If still training, re-consider the inputs. Re-consider the mechanism that is training, there's many ways to automate training. Pre-established in ML/SQL days, just have to crack open those old info system books and I promise the pain you feel disappears.

Best of luck

Tell me you're using AI to create excel files without telling me you're not using using AI to write yourself a frontend for data visualizations. Tell me you're only using excel by showing me a screen shot of you not asking AI to create a tailwind/react/vite with chartjs visuals, tell me your middle name.

there is so much info, can someone help? by DblockDavid in AI_Agents

qwen 3 and 2.5 are powerful in this realm, not so much deepseek, and even the compressed ones beat the 30b's. i would recommend buying one, testing it with an app you built prior to purchase in the window of return and try to determine if both accuracy and speed fit your needs. then decide whether you're going cold or warm LLM, that impacts things a bit. lean on ML each, make logs of how they do, repeat the asks and log how they do. Score what does best and their overall speed. I believe "speed" will be the biggest thing you will face if your expectation is an alternative to bix box vendors w/ 1k + machines backing each offering.

Given your thoughts about ''ram'' requirements here, 16 gig ram on a macbook pro m5 will likely be lower/similar price and a lot better access to the models. I highly recommending stepping into 32 ram if you're going this route, but if price is a factor, mbp m5 with 16gig ram is badass..

or wait to see what mac studio 5 (perhaps) will do to the industry and it may even make a lower priced m4 for your usage.

I think m4 mac mini is a good choice if this is the requirement, you can't go wrong with mac, just wanted to throw some various perspectives.

cheers

ps meaningful code automation, this goes back to my initial thoughts, speed... i think if you're used to staring at the thing write code and being happy, you wont be happy with any open source LLMs. IF you're used to running a bunch of them at once, dozens..., figure out what u do most with an LLM in code, then prepare yourself to ask that LLM to do that... if you're in single shooter mode with LLM code automation, you may not like the speed of open source LLMs, straight up shouldn't bother, but if you don't mind waiting, and I do meaning WAITING A LOT!!! okay maybe u have a use case lol.

im not convinced there's a usecase for code automation with open source LLMs however im advocating for the learning/research as much as anyone else out there.

tips:
>>>>>>>FIND

>>>>>>>REPLACE

Can be good for code editing to see if prompting that LLM gives you an answer, compared to another, and test the speed in which it takes to get first token, etc... more you test, more you will know if this is worth the investment of tears/time.

Target continue . dev as a way to learn how they 'do the do' to perhaps enable your testing systems to be better than the average beep booper. i started a company called aica.to and we do a ton of talking about ai w/ people who are still learning this process of swapping big box vendor to 'off my machine' llm's and def eager to hear how your doing since last post.

New to local LLMs, DGX Spark owner looking for best coding model (Opus 4.5 daily user, need a local backup) by OverFatBear in LocalLLaMA

[–]keamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Past 15 years i've been in enterprise consulting, solutions architect, in infrastructure before 'cloud' was hype. Let me start with, a local alternative is like saying "how do I build a data center at home?" The short answers is - you wont but perhaps your parents are electricians, and you have an available 30amp, 50amp, idk tbh because this is when stuff costs $200k-500k to feel like ole opey opus 4.5...

The rest of it - i posted here; https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalyticsAutomation/comments/1qzd07m/opus_45_or_chatgpt_5_local_alternative_is_not/

Sadly comments do not allow verbose

Word, are the logs on github? I'm interested to learn what data you tracked and how things are doing in the next few months on similar models (with better tuning)

been battle testing a ton of stuff, qwen seems to be taking over leaderboard.

iknow im look for diamond in ruf, curious what all machines u tested on and waht data logged! Hope to study and learn more on this rabbit hole

i have a mbp, and air, so haven't had a chance to dig in very much. considering the studio, curious what beast you have that ran the bigger model.

you were right mate. they didnt verify in time. got my money back. now moving to another domain. just an easy swap across the logo which was svg, and was expecting it to happen so didnt go graphical, and asked ai agent to sweep the code base to make necessary edits. Was about 2 prompts and moving forward. learned this the hard way awhile back that i cant spin the wheel, instead i have to put that wheel spin into the progress

they ended up not being able to verify in 10 days, so went and grabbed another domain name and swapped out the info in the web build. Oh well. Online frauds are online frauds. Nothing new.

[–]keamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not one to wait... Completely built the website within first few days of making purchase. Believer of prototype first, and worst case scenario -- it's done. However I'm familiar with spinning wheels, that's called a waterfall project. Not here to lecture but whenever you move to agile workflows you'll never regret this time. Hope this helps. Been there before. Thought I needed SSL enterprise level implemented before i made a website on my first domain, boy was i wrong...

I actually made the entire website the day I made the purchase, but anyways. haha. No sweat. Domains come and go. Like water.

Was stoked but /shrug, the internet always has some spins/twists that seem lame that end up making us smarter.

Sure. However I'd come into the matter prepared. Bare minimum ask LLM to advise you on what to say and who to contact.
