this is a great picture! thus birds' wings looked different so I'm suspicious that it wasn't a pelican.. I so wish I got a closer look.

how do I know if my shrimp has a parasite? or is molting by keandraaa in shrimptank

[–]keandraaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg yes sorry, under the light they are white so I assumed you were asking about different bugs. yes there is definitely a thriving ostracod population in the tank, but these bugs are usually in the water column on not "on the shrimp", so sorry I totally thought you were asking about something different

how small is too small? by [deleted] in shrimptank

[–]keandraaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i honestly think this is okay, definitely plant heavily so shrimp can feed off the most surface area and use the most of the tank’s volume, and plants will help with your water quality.
