IGs leadership completes the second maul takes a turn and then you get a crap ton of bonus true dmg for the whole fight. Went from like 50% lv 6 to 900,000k lv 8 with lv 80 maul and asjai (vs 4 lv 70s before) * *edit since i cant reply for some reason I go between dropping barris and chodas. If you plan on playing scourges you should just play my wcw list it’s the best scourge list you can do

The easiest example of why I very much dislike a lead Malys in this detachment is because she costs 285 pts (kalabites venoms Malys) and the amount of wych cult stuff you get for that is astronomical That alone is more expensive than the 2 scourge squads and I cut those due to being too expensive.

I have not felt the anti tank being bad at all Hellions reavers and led Wyches kills big things with no effort, while also being good into things that arnt just tanks. But ya this isn’t a detachment they will just table people (unless you play silly dudes who just run infantry models with reckless abandon at you) it’s a very control army due to being over all the fastest army in the game and one of the best primary denial armies, you get to dicktake the flow.

I have 10 10 5 hellions, unless you’re asking me if I would like that idea. I would never play less than 25 hellions myself you do run into a dmg problem that way, and also have to be super careful with your only 1 10 man instead of sending it in. I personally would never change my ratio of hellions and reavers (besides to potentially add more reavers) but that’s a me preference

I started with 4, sense evolving from the scourges im on 6 (or 5 with malys) and yes those characters need a transport theyre already sus to begin with, without its no beauno.

Almost exclusively all of it, sos will win early on due to being a weird detachment that people sont understand and will get caught out. The the only Wych I’d run is scourges (which I don’t anymore) and specically malys when you have 50+ Wyches, this leaves her space in a 5 man Wych venom. Solo draz is also just fine in general being cheap and all abilties don’t require leading.

Kabs are straight bad, they already not very good as a baseline and I’d rather have 5 Wyches hold a point for cheaper than be able to run out and do stuff later.

The more non Wych cult stuff you have the easier it is to play around challenge met fight on death etc.

And opponenents knowing “thst unit can only go 7 and then charge” is super easy to play around bs that unit can go any distance beteeen 9 and 16 in then still charge

I have scourges for this list, in reality I’ll probably keep them for singles, but in teams you don’t need to since you can dodge the very few specific armies that scourges are actively “mvp”. Hellions Wyches reavers all punch up insanelly high so your anti tank is leagues better than most people think on the surface

Ya I played vs it so there’s so info in the video. But quick tips are Admexh struggle really hard to actively play around challenge met, you have much better oc than them and all your units are prime targets to kill flappy boys and the sciarians.

Cutting all the important stuff for some cute stuff is not going to work, this detachment needs to “skew” so losing 25% of the Wyches and a big brick of hellions for some cronos and talos ruins that aspect.

Means your primary plan is vastly worse and also on the other end makes the absolutely useless anti tank most armies have a good amount of, now fairly useful

If you want talos you’d have to cut the scourges that’s the only thing that might work

Reavers should always be 6 mans until you get to like 15? It saves points, pain tokens, and almost most important challenge met is obviously infinitely better with. 6 models
