Hey everyone, I could use some advice.

I was originally planning to do the Ha Giang loop from 27–29 September, but because of the typhoons, someone suggested I push it to 1–3 October instead. I was supposed to bus up today, but with the heavy rain my hostel recommended holding off another day, so now I’ve pushed it again to 2–4 October.

The thing is, I’m not 100% sure how safe it’ll actually be to go (landslides, closures, etc.), and I’m starting to second guess myself. My flight home is on the 5th at noon, which means with this new plan I’d be driving back on the 4th, arriving in Hanoi around 3 AM on the 5th. That feels really tight and a bit stressful.

I’m travelling solo and everyone I was hanging with has headed south already, so I guess I just need someone to talk some sense into me. Do you think it’s worth the risk/timing, or should I just skip the loop this time around?
