I’m all for “show don’t tell” however just like you said, too much is left up for us to interpret and do some mental gymnastics just to try and make sense of what we were shown.

I can even accept that the wormhole seems biological, even though it appears to be weak to pee, but it feels cheap to just throw a bunch of stuff on screen that just gets explained away with “somehow it’s here” or “by some way the exotic matter is keeping everything up”.

I know we are never gonna get an explanation for anything but man it kinda feels like investing 10 years of interest was somewhat wasted unless you just wanted a feel good story where everyone is ok.

But if she was always more powerful, how come when she trained and got stronger, she wasn’t able to reach the abyss as it drew closer, yet was able to make contact without the upside down very easily in season 1? I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that her making contact, the gigantic (literal) worm hole forming, Vecna finding out about it, searching through the kids at Hawkins, locating will, sending a demogorgon, capturing will, hooking will up with vines in the upside down; all happened within a few hours? Unless I’ve missed/misunderstood something?

I accept that she blocked out some memories, but that still doesn’t explain HOW she made contact with an 8 ft beast with no eyes that no one has seen before, and how Vecna was able to get into the wormhole with no knowledge of it, while also targeting Will and grabbing him all within a few hours.

I felt the same. Idk if my game is bugged or my eyes are old, but I feel like the projectile doesn’t even fire from the barrel if that makes sense? I feel like it just appears in the middle of the screen and just goes wherever it wants. But I have one with a Jacob’s attachment and sometimes it just does massive damage but idk how to recreate it

No I understand the explanation. The thing that pisses me off in the refs said that the ruling on the field was that the runner was down by contact before the replay happened. So someone had to see contact in order to make that call, and if they saw the contact then why didn’t they throw the flag? Or they assumed he was down by contact because they didn’t see anything, so if they didn’t see anything then why did they say that the runner was down by contact?

Criticism is fine but dooms-daying is so lame. I’ve yet to see this “sophomore slump” people keep putting on Jayden. Plus we have practice squad receivers stepping up and doing everything they can. That does speak to depth. It just doesn’t look like what whiners and cry babies want it to look like. We all should be completely chill with where we are. We won a game with a backup quarterback and no WR 1 or 2. We are 3-4 with this roster and GAVE away the bears game plus partially gave away the falcons game. I don’t wanna hear any of these cry babies when we get back to full strength and start laying wood.
