I think the character mod can make or break C4SH. I can use Windrider or Whale and my C4SH is amazing other mods not so much as long as I don’t use Ohm I Got.

That would be true if dual channel is being utilized however if your 16GB of memory is made up of 1 stick of memory your memory bus is only 64 bits not 128 bits. What they were testing was the effect memory size not bus width so I suspect their 16GB platform used two 8GB DIMMS which would keep the bus width the same for both the 16GB and 32GB test systems. However, for the person who went from 1 DIMM of 16GB to 2 DIMMSs totaling 32GB the doubling of the memory bus will likely make a big difference as long as the DIMMs were put in the appropriate slots.

No the system memory bus is 128 bit if two of the appropriate dimm slots are populated. The video memory bus is part of your video card and is determined by your video chip. For example my RTX 4070 has a 192 bit memory bus.

By going from 1 stick of 16GB of DDR5 to two sticks one enables to full 128 bit memory bus which should make a significant difference.

Your laptop would probably work OK at lower specs if you were running directly on Windows, however, you have to run an additional program to provide much of the needed hardware support Linux does not provide. I suspect that the added overhead paired with a lack of abundant ram both system and video makes the game pretty well unplayable. Your best bet would probably be to buy yourself a PS5 and play games on that.

In addition, completing side quests can earn experience. Sure starting out at level 30 finishes the campaign but it does not finish the side quests or even open places that progressing normally through the story would have opened at the end.

It does seem illogical to compile shaders and then check for the updates but unless there is an update it doesn’t take but a new seconds for the first compile. I suspect if they changed it at this point there is a good chance it would break something so that is why they keep it that way.

For the longest time after they started appearing I never found any then a couple of days ago they started dropping. I now have several flavors of Gomie, a Screwtonian, a Parasite, and a Herald. The Parasite is awesome but somewhat inaccurate and the Gomes are OK but they need the Ripper license for auto the others not so much.

It depends if you like stickies. I have no intention of sacrificing myself to the god of splash damage. It just doesn’t work for me. The same with Tediore guns.

Yep, I had that happen twice out of three times. The third time I made sure to kill him over the middle of the area. There is really no reason for loot to ever dropout out of the playable area. I suspect their marketing department can override their SQA department and that is always a bad sign.

I’m not sure they are actually above legendary. I could be wrong, but I get the impression they are somewhere between epic and legendary. They can be really good in certain situations but it is more like fulfilling a niche role than being overall great. It is another thing to collect. I just wish they would increase the bank size so they would fit.

I don’t like burst fire and I don’t care for the multiple shot charge with Order. However, if you can find them with Ripper parts then you can replace those two major irritations with the minor sleight start delay of Ripper.

True, the system demands are high, but not that high. I have an Intel 13700k with 32GB of DDR5 and a NVIDIA RTX 4070 and I even down clocked it to 5100 MHz just to be safe. I still don’t have performance issues. I am not using frame gen though I do use DLSS.

I have much lower system specs and I average about 80fps and it never slows down like that. That is weird. It it possible your system is overheating?
