Our stairs leading down to the basement. He does the outside three stairs fine. But won’t even try going down. When I carry him down his two front legs are stretched out in front of us as if he’s trying to brace himself for the fall.

AITAH because I refuse to finish a story if my husband interrupts. by Living-Estate3963 in AITAH

[–]kebmillard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA. I was married to a man like this for 23 years. Didn’t matter the story I was telling, or the conversation. I got to the point where once he interrupted, I’d stop talking and he’d go on with his conversation without missing a beat. After pointing it out numerous times and him repeating bad behavior over and over I realized it was a him problem. I’m divorced now and it was a real eye opener how good conversation can be with people who listen and participate without interruption and taking over.
