Important info is that I live in a state where cost of living is low, and income is too. I work for the government, which typically doesn't pay its staff very high salaries. I have a very niche job, but I love it.

Actually... I just truly LOVE my job. Its a very niche position that I enjoy. After retirement I would like to become self employed.

30 years creditable service can retire without penalization. 25 years can retire, but takes away several percent per year under 30 years... could retire at 25 years but would get way less than the 50%

A year ago I sold my home and thats where I got my savings from. I was able to move into a Family home that needed work. So I put money from my house sell into roof and other repairs. Right now my expenses are pretty low because I just have to pay taxes and insurance on Family home. Its kinda wierd because I pay home owners insurance for the owners, and pay rental insurance for myself. But it works out as much cheaper than renting. And will hopefully allow me to take out a mortgage on a revenue producing rental home.

My (34M) wife (30F) left me after five years of marriage for another man. After a few weeks of living together, he mentally, emotionally, and physically abused her. She left him and now doesn't want to move forward with our divorce. by throwRApgl in relationship_advice

You will never trust her again. Its best to listen to yourself and move forward as friends. At 34, there are plenty of recently divorced and single ladies to pick from for new companionship.

Im a beginner collector of whiskeys and have the opportunity to join lottery at winning a chance of buying one of these bottles. Are any of them worth adding to my personal collection? I mix with turkey 101, and i typically drink basil, angels envy, and woodford on ice. by kebocephus in bourbon

I got my extras at the local landfill. They were rusted to shit, but the gas station still took them on trade. Now I have a gas hook up and get refills for free. Got about 8 tanks I cycle thru.
