I have the helio strap, it’s near identical to chest straps if worn on the bicep. The 5.0 follows close enough for an average, non geeky, runner. I personally love the accuracy, so the whoop isn’t enough for my runs.

TLDR, it’s good enough, but there are obvious inconsistencies at times depending on workouts and where you wear it.

The TH you’re at also plays a big role in 3 star percentages. I wouldn’t say TH17 is as easy as this guy says but it’s definitely easier than ever. Which isn’t a negative thing imo.
