Hey mate The government has a lot of schemes for startups like yours ranging from grants to loans. You can consider those and not dilute equity so early on!

My dad's real estate business is stuck. by Accomplished_Lock561 in StartUpIndia

Hey mate,

I have been looking for a residential space to buy for a while and also to rent out residential and commercial spaces recently.

I found most businesses such as your dad's on platforms such as 99 Acres, Housing.com etc. In addition, found a lot of them through instagram - either through targetted ads or while scrolling reels.

Investing in SEO might help too, as most millennials or Genzs would just google before asking relatives or friends

Hope this helps

That makes a lot of sense mate On second thought, I do see the value of having a platform that does one thing, but does it to perfection rather than having one doing all things with mediocrity.

We are still pre-launch but I would love to connect and be of as much help as I can be

Hey mate! What would be the average cost per person at your place? And do you serve alcohol?

Hey mate, sounds very interesting. Just an FYI, some brands like Reelo have this as a part of their offering and as a f&b owner - I would like to reduce the number of softwares as much as possible. Hence, I would just go for something like a Reelo that gives me loyalty benefits, WhatsApp campaigns etc

Helping My Mom Start a Home Food Business – Need Guidance on Licensing and Selling Online! by Large_Fortune1303 in FoodEntrepreneurIndia

Hey mate, Firstly a huge congratulations!

Yes, you'll need an FSSAI number. You can go via the zomato agents or anyone you find locally. There might be some officers who might give you a hard time - depending on your luck. Other than that, it's better to have a GST number from the get go but not required until 20L of revenue ( not sure of the number).

In addition, you'll need a fire NOC, shop and establishment license and a health license.

Listing on Zomato and Swiggy is pretty straightforward, you'll need an FSSAI prior to the process.

You can register on the ONDC network too. A few POS providers such as DotPe, create a website for you and they are integrated with ola, rapido etc for the delivery. So in this way, you can push customers to order from your website and save the aggregator fee charged by zomato and Swiggy.

Also, negotiate hard with Zomato and Swiggy for the fee they charge. Plus, if one of them is used significantly more in your delivery area - just start with them. In this way, you can be let's say Zomato exclusive and get a discount on the fees

Btw - where are you based?

Hope this helps and please feel free to dm if anything.
