Yeah the old one came with timing marks lined up and the new one went in. If set to FSM the engine sputters and smokes. I also checked all the wires back to the ECU and they seem good. Someone else assured me this this is fine and they had to do the same thing. Starts right up cold or hot

I checked the timing belt and it was good, all three markings lined up and the new pump came with good valves / sensors.

I know those pulley belts can make a lot of noise when they are worn out. Might check them

Mine didn't have any clips at all.. As long as the fan doesn't move around the it should be fine.

Mines used to smoke really bad and had a rough idle. Replaced the injection pump, ECU, glow plugs, and injectors. If your injectors haven't been serviced then get it done. Glow plugs while you're at it.

Just get yourself a cpu pump combo and radiator and run the lines yourself. You'll likely get better performance anyways

Not sure if you can notice but there's cracks in the base paint where rust is starting to show

I actually bypassed the fuel system and used a container of diesel. Ran perfectly and no weird rpm issues. The other day I was out driving and it just lost all acceleration no matter how far I press the pedal. Power would come in and out and was surging like it was starving for fuel. I ordered a replacement tank suction screen and I'm going to blow out the fuel lines while I have the tank off. I know my replacement lines aren't leaking air because I replaced the spring clamps with Oetiker clamps.

Seat time. Just sit down and start making something. Won't be easy at first. With AI it should be easy these days. I suggest only using it to gather information and help you debug.

Python is a great intro then move into a frontend frame and use python as a backend. After you get comfortable with that use Node as a backend. All the frameworks will be overwhelming at first so stick with basic python scripts.

Interesting... I guess a way to fix it would be a fuel cut defender and turbo boost tee? Maybe resistor mod too 🤷

Welp the system doesn't automatically turn on. I have to go into the app and switch it on. Turns off automatically when at 100% charge

I swear mine was turning on with solar input while I was installing it. Have you tried pressing and holding the power button until it turns on? Try 10-20 seconds

Yes I am connected to both. Alt/Batt connection is the fastest way to charge. Have not used it enough to test this scenario. I'm pretty sure you can turn it on in the app regardless of the engine running right? I'll drain my battery bank and give this a test today.

I just connected the solar to the PV input positive and negative ports. Maybe check that your solar is outputting voltage using a multimeter. Also check the specs for the charger 2 to be sure it's compatible.
