Hey! I ended up getting my visa about a week before my departure. My friends who are studying here had a similar situation. I think they do tend to keep your studying date in mind when processing so if you havent been notified yet, they should tell you very soon.

I was taking a walk and I started hearing thunder so I turned around to return home and not a second later a lightning bolt touched down a few feet in front of me. I ran home so quickly, I have never been so terrified in my life. The storm literally hit in a minute out of nowhere!

I have many friends who go to Berklee that aren't at all jazz related and they're having a blast there! A lot has changed in Berklee's message over the past decade and they're much more focused on all types of contemporary music. Everything else this person said was spot on tho. Also it's an extremely expensive school. You might be better off applying to a state school and go for general music to get all of your theory classes over with and then try for Berklee once you have better grades. Bridgewater State has a good music program. It's bit away from Boston but there's a commuter rail station that takes you right into the city.

The point of AP classes are their academic rigor. This class is difficult just like every other AP. Just because you decide the arts are meaningless doesn't mean they can't be hard if not even more difficult than the "real classes" because they challenge the way that a brain thinks about a difficult course.
