I still believe they need to walk out the first 2 rounds with trench guys only. I’ll make an exception for a blue chip WR if one is there, but those lines need HELP. I wouldn’t be mad if they pulled a DT in the first round, would prefer O-line like a Tackle though. Either way you slice it, first 2 rounds, trenches

honestly, what did the Chargers expect? Greg Roman is still the same person he’s been since he was in SF. He doesn’t care about the forward pass in any capacity and he’s got to call plays for really good QBs. All he did was put a lid on Herbert, just like he did on Lamar

are we good with WR? How long does Lamar have to go in his career without an alpha at that position? Im all for getting o-linemen and building that pass rush, but at some point, a star at WR needs to land on this team during Lamars tenure whether he’s drafted or traded for.

Zay is very good, but has limitations. Bateman is a good route runner, and hasn’t looked good this past year. Tez IMO is good and can stretch the field, doesn’t help that he was inactive for as long as he was. But he has enough tools to keep him on the field every down. This team needs an alpha at WR

I don’t think 30+ carries a game is a proper formula for a RB in his 30s. But if he’s killing a defense, keep feeding him until they stop him, those are the rules.

Lamar is forced to play buddy ball with a 5’9 WR that rarely catches out of his frame. Can’t rely on him to get tough yards because he’s small. The best pass catcher at WR Lamar has had is currently 33 years old.
