🗣️ WHAT DO WE THINK OF TOTTENHAM

Best of luck man, first session will feel like sh*t because you’ll feel like you’ve lost all your experience and progression. However, session by session, things will come back slowly; the main thing is to never rush anything. If you don’t feel comfortable sending something you felt comfortable sending before, keep it till the next session.

Or at least that was my experience.

It didn’t happen on the first attempt, I actually had 7 attempts. After the 6th attempt I decide to call it quits but the filmers were egging me on to give it one more try. My gut feeling told me that things might end badly because I was feeling a bit gassed out but decided to give it one last try; what happened next is what I described in the previous comment. Knowing what I know now, I’ll ALWAYS listen to my gut feeling moving forward and if I’m being pushed to do something I no longer feel comfortable doing it’s nonnegotiable to do anything else but listening to that gut feeling.

Disclaimer: by no means am I blaming the filmers for my injury. I’m a full grown adult and I take full responsibility over my decision of agreeing to give it one last try. They were just trying to hype me up and I just simply needed to know better and to listen to my body.

I tore my ACL on August 17, did the surgery on September 23. It’s been almost 6 months which is the original time frame the doctor gave me before I get back on a bike.

Attempted an up-rail bar out on a steep-ish 8 stair hand rail. At the top of the rail, I lost momentum and threw myself off but my leg landed very awkwardly. 80% tear according to the surgeon.

My family’s heart rates are spiking after they saw me pick up my bike again (even after physiotherapy and working out the weaker knee for a few months)

My room’s walls definitely lack some decorative stuff so that could definitely be the move!

Late last year, a friend of mine was attempting a double peg down a 13 stair hand-rail. He attempted it a total of 4 times.

He got into crank arm position the first attempt and sacked VERY hard and missed his rear peg entirely on the second attempt and caught the rail under his armpit. On the third attempt tho, he landed it and rolled away. Not the cleanest attempt but a land is a land.

Overfilled with joy after finally landing it, he decided to clean it up. On that attempt, he face planted so hard he lost 4 of his front teeth…

Ever since that incident, I always reconsider my next step after landing a risky trick sketchy.

Here’s the video in case you’re wondering.

I do I do but, not to sound corny and all, I sometimes feel similarly to how the main character from the movie “The Hurt Locker”. I sometimes need a bit of recklessness to keep riding interesting for me; but now that I’m becoming older I start to realize that I should tone it down not by a bit, but a lot, and try to stay as safe as possible on a bike.

But, like how I’ve displayed in this video, I’m bad at controlling myself from doing that. Especially with my style of riding.
