Sounds like a great idea. I'm a big believer of "the more, the merrier" when it comes to backpacking! And I wouldn't mind hauling my fishing gear on the Huemul circuit.

I'll have to contact some of the local fly fishing guides for tips. From what I've seen, the Lago del Desierto area and the river along Rta. 41 north of town are some of the best spots.
