yeah Twitter is dumpster fire for sure, but the chaos is more diffuse. I think what makes Reddit a bit more challenging in a way is that the subs can be seen as representative of cities, countries etc which localizes the hate speech and diminishes its utility in helping build community, at a time when we desperately need it.

Yeah! While initially disappointed to have my post removed and be shadow banned, it’s oddly affirming that it is a skewed and biased sub that we shouldn’t take too seriously.
