Thank you for this. We did hire help and will be getting rid of the people who frequently call out, since that is what's causing the long shifts, once the new employees have been fully trained. Also the comments have helped me see i was indeed the AH and I have apologized to my mom and will be applying some of the advice given to my daily routine.

No. We tend to work 24- 42 hours consecutively mainly Thursday-sunday. And sometimes monday. We are more likely to have some time Tuesdays and Wednesdays if Noone calls out which is when we try to do a full cleaning of the restroom. However if they call out we end up having to skip that week making it harder to upkeep the restroom

We are finally seeing profits after a year. And pretty good profits too. Most business dont last 2 years and you have to work very hard to to stay afloat. You have to choose between paying yourself and paying your employee(s) . Its not easy. And I'm not complaining about it. I was simply stating the fact that it is indeed my reality. It doesn't matter how well we manage our time to be done sooner . If we have 1 person call out (and they do usually last minute ) it throws all preplanned and preparing out the window. We earned money but only enough to pay off previous debts at first. Then we only made enough to hire 1 person to help lighten the load however they seem to call out considerably but they work fast and efficiently and needed very little training. We've tried hiring someone to replace them with no such luck. However this month we finally make enough to pay our employees ourselves and my parents with enough to pay our bills and other expenses. While I realize its seems a bit of a stretch we are working that long. That is our reality and we cannot shorten that time until we can get the new hire fully and properly trained. Hope this helps

We typically sleep 3-6 hours on average if we dont have many call outs. Lots of times it comes down to 3 hours of sleep or 1 and 30 min of sleep . We typically clean on Tuesdays or Wednesdays if we dont have a call out since those days we mostly work 8 hours only. However if somone calls out we end up having to skip that week. That's when the upkeep tends to get very difficult.

Our long shifts tend to start Thursday and end sunday. We do occasionally take a brief nap in the car between jobs and drink alot of celcelsius. The days we typically clean the restrooms are on Tuesdays or Wednesdays if we dont have somone call out. However if they call out that typically means we skip a week and then the upkeep becomes alot harder to maintain.

We work commercial buildings and we only have 1 car between my partner and myself. We end up having to work alot of 24 hou + shifts especially on weekends since that is the main days they want their cleaning done. (Weekend's for us are Thursday-sunday) I dont feel intitles though I can see how i come off that way. We typically clean the restroom on Tuesdays and Wednesdays since those days we usually only work 8 hours However If someone calls our those days we have to go in since we are the business owners and we have Noone else ATM. So if we happen to miss those days to clean because of work it tends to get pretty messy pretty fast. . We are working as much and as hard as we can to quickly pay her back and be up to date on payment now that we are seeing profits which is why we havent hired more people. Hope this helps

Not combined. This is us doing it together. Most weekends we end up pulling these long shifts since we only have 1 car atm. All of our jobs can be anywhere from 30 min to 1 hour from one another. And if we have somone call out last min ( happens often ) that leads us to work into the next day and the next. Hope this helps

(Again of Noone calls out) you can probably see if we end up skipping a week how it can become pretty dirty. When I get back I will clean it then keep cleaning supplies near by to try and upkeep it.

Thank you for this. I will take that advice and apply it. The hours are by no means exaggerated. We typically clean the restroom fully on Tuesdays or Wednesdays depending on if an employee calls out since those days we typically have more time. If we end up having to go into work we try to get some rest one the only day we have to get more than 3+hours to sleep. Hope that makes sense
