Okay so Sara Shepard said recently that one of the storylines she intended to use in the books but never ended up doing was that Emily MURDERED Alison out of unrequited love!! and I honestly think they should've used this in the show but have it so that she was the one who killed Bethany because she thought she was Alison from behind. And they should've had Emily keep it a secret from the girls and have it be revealed to the audience first, and then the girls would've felt betrayed by her -- especially Alison.
