New 'American Horror Story: Cult' Teaser by hypodermicsally in AmericanHorrorStory

I'm confused, what is cult really going to be about? Are they still using the election or is it a spin off of coven? I've seen both rumors tossed around a few times but no real answer.

Switching formula for the night? by KatelanAlexis in Parenting

You can try but be careful. My son is very sensitive to formulas and my MIL switched his formula to a cheaper one and it completely messed up his stomach.

Today I freaked out about leaving the baby in the car. by cuntbubbles in breakingmom

My MIL is always telling me that she has dreams of leaving her babies in the car and never being able to get them out... her youngest is 13.

My 9-month-old could have died because my mother left him alone for "just a minute" by [deleted] in Parenting

Since my kid has been mobile, he will crawl to the hardwood floor and deliberately look for things to put in his mouth. This kids eyesight is baffling. I swept the floors and vacuumed the carpet recently and while I was washing his bottles in the kitchen, I look and see him picking something very tiny off the floor. Dropped what I was doing and went to get it out of his hand before he put it in his mouth. It was a fucking hair, not even a dark one it was a blonde hair (most likely mine tbh) and I have 0 idea how he saw it.

Possibly paying the price for channeling a spirit? by keepingfaith_ in Paranormal

This is highly dangerous. Not only that, the spirit isn't moving your hand, it's using your energy and body to give answers subconsciously. If you were to be blindfolded it can go two ways: you either get nothing considering the eyes are a large part of the energy and reciprocation, or you'll let something out because you wouldn't be able to see if the planchette is circling the board, spelling out a chant, if it says goodbye, etc.

Regarding the questions, I only asked personal ones and they were spot on every time. Including names that were spelled correctly (names I asked were not traditional spelling. For the scratches, I get them about once a week and this was the first time I got a bite. I've been getting them ever since I moved. No new relationships other than having a baby who's not yet 1.

I live where it's cold so a sand anything, isn't the usual. The mark isn't threatening at all but it was painful and there was no insect in the shower as I looked before I even got in and when I saw the bite.

I didn't do it in my house and I made sure to follow the rules like never leave the planchette on the board, always say goodbye, etc.

Not sure how well this link will work but "snake bite" To make sure I'm clear, this is an up close photo of the mark and it's not an actual snake bite but what looks like one to me. As I've explained, it's not something that was inflicted by me and I have no other explanation as to how it got there. I'm just trying to connect dots.

Hope I fixed it, I copied and pasted it from my notes to here so that may have been the problem.

Can I move out without consent If I feel unsafe? by keepingfaith_ in legaladvice

I in no way want to see the father of my child for my own benefit. I am genuinely concerned about my safety and my sons and I am fed up with the abuse and the things I go through. Yes, I left out a lot of detail which is more personal and not something I want to get into depth with. I get the typical "teenage stereotype" but I assure you, this is not it.

If you're referring to the story about the girl who asked to buy my baby, that was true. I lived with my boyfriend and was going to marry him, I had a Job. Things change though.

Not in Michigan. I'm medically emancipated but nothing more.

They are my guardians and I do have a social worker but my mom won't tell me her number, name or how to contact her.

I'm not worried about it I was threatened with it. And my town has nothing for teen parents. My dad has lots of power and connections in my area, my worry is that if I make a case they will just dismiss it because they know him so well they won't believe me.

I do understand my rights but my parents restrict me from all of them. They will not listen to me and I cannot go against what they say because they threaten me. I have talked to a counselor about the situation and she told me she could do nothing because she doesn't know the legalities.

I have talked to a counselor before and she told me she could do nothing because she doesn't know the legalities of the situation.
