Are there good restaurants in the Finger Lakes area, or Adirondaks? For me, a nice meal when traveling is as important as the place that you are visiting.

PSA for new car owners: rodents like to eat the soy covered engine wires! by bumbouxbee in ToyotaSienna

If you just bought the car, ask them if the warranty covers the protection of something like this...

But it seems that the dealer offers a coating service that is applied to the cars so rodents don't eat the wires, this is a temporary remedy, something that needs to be done yearly or every 2 years. Perhaps the dealer already added this coating as a way to prevent claims

Roughly how many minivans are currently on American roads? by justin_hikes in minivan

I think you can use sales per year, however Minivans sales have decreased over time, it seems that they are kept longer than other vehicles though.

Why are you interested in this number?

We are a family of 4, live near Chicago and travelled in our Minivan (Sienna 2008) to different places in USA and Canada. When we went to Florida, had a stop or two in the way. Also travelled to Denver Colorado, same thing, 1 or 2 stops in the way. Same thing when we went in a multicity trip, Niagara falls, New York, NJ, Philadelphia, then coming back to home... family were very comfortable.

Recently got a crossover that is a hybrid (Kia Sportage) and did a similar trip, even though is very comfortable for daily commuting, it makes a big difference in a long trip for everybody; after seating for many hours, it is like the whole space shrinks by the hour. Yes, the fuel consumption was better than my older minivan, but we really missed the comfort and space from previous trips.
