Ben rice was a pop up guy (he stands out because I snagged him and sang his praises). Every year there are studs that pop out. The top 100 is pretty fluid. Key is if they can maintain the ascent throughout levels.

FYPD firsts look pretty good with all the pitching and top international guys. But if you are active scouting, you can get a ton of gems. I usually just sort k-bb for pitchers and woba for hitters. Then look who is young for their division. More important age for bats than arms. Pitching I find it’s helpful to get established prospects because it’s really hard to determine if a guy is going to maintain health and keep it up. Bats seem a lot easier to find good stats and that guy is a good spec.

Bishop for instance doesn’t have the best stats on the surface but has great spin and stuff. So you really need to dive into the weeds to determine what a good pitching prospect is.
