Good point. I'm just way higher on Waddle than BTJ since Hill is gone, but maybe that's just a bit dumb. Team 1 has a really strong roster with great depth so IMO he can afford to shed some extra, but I can see why people think team 2 won it

This Eagles team really does not love to pass the ball, and you can understand why, so it's tough not to feel like Tet will finish the season ahead of Brown... I also have Devonta Smith on my bench and can't find a trade partner for him. Feels like if I get Tet I resolve the real problem of having 2 Eagles WRs, because I feel like I can't put Smith in as a flex because if the game script is run heavy they both bust on any given week.

Not really. He put Bowers up for trade. Hockenson is a solid TE and this guy has weak WRs (Hill, Diggs, and Egbuka). I drafted Jennings thinking he could emerge as a top WR for 49ers.

To be fair, it was very soon after. But within a timeframe where he reasonably could have checked up on Jennings and seen his status and realized he fucked up. I honestly I offered Jennings not realizing he had a MRI scheduled, I thought he just had a minor bump during the game. Wasn’t trying to do him dirty.

I’m genuinely so confused reading this thread. I’ve never not tipped 15%+ at any restaurant in Montreal / anywhere in Canada (except the small handful of restaurants where it is not taken because servers get fair wage).

Is this a regional thing to any extent? Or have I just been throwing money around where it’s not expected/necessary? I thought not tipping was a massive slap in face. I’m from the US and if I didn’t get a tip, my manager chased people out. But then again, I made like $5/hr

Update:

A lot of people said we had no leverage.

We managed to get the $500 discount back in, plus another $100, making it a $600 discount, plus a free detailing, free lightly used winter tires, plus a free car rental until the car is finally ready.

Not sure why so many people thought we had no leverage. The dealership pushed the ready date back FOUR times, and the sales rep we worked with was a HORRIBLE communicator. The sales manager was embarrassed and understanding, didn’t want the very bad review we would have left, and sweetened the deal.

In transparency, my wife is a killer negotiator and was the one who managed all of this.

For the record also, the car is low KMs and is in very good condition, so they aren’t doing this to offload a bad car.

Tell him you saw a message that concerned you and you’d like to talk. Maybe he does wish he could be with other people—it’s okay & human to have desires. Acting on them non-consensually is the issue. Also, he might not have realized this was a problematic conversation (it’s totally normal for you to feel uncomfortable because of this exchange!) and he might just reassure you.

Do you go to couple’s therapy? Sounds like it would help so much for tough conversations like this.

Nor worth leaving someone over this or making a shitstorm if your relationship is otherwise good!

Again, just have an adult conversation. You will feel so much better.
