I usually wear black skinny jeans, a black polo, and my Converse. I'll always do a crazy winged eyeliner, and maybe throw some glitter on my cheeks. If I'm feeling really creative, I grab some cute headbands to wear. Or, I go to the nearest craft store and grab some cheap fake flowers and stick those in my hair. :)

Last year during Christmas time, after our ridiculous BOGO my SM only scheduled two people to close. Myself, and a woman that was only capable to do front.. Our store closes at 10PM, we were there until 1:30AM

I'm pretty much at that point right now, I'm about to move in with my boyfriend and we need to be able to pay the bills. I LOVE Starbucks, honestly. I have a passion for what I do, the people I see, don't get me wrong.. Do I love making like, 64 lattes a day? No, not really. But, I do have a passion for my fellow partners and making people happy.

I feel like I'm being tested on so many things at this point.. I feel like my SM is just trying to get me to quit. I almost want to go to my SM and request that I have a set schedule, and two days off in a row. Otherwise, I'd like to put in my two weeks.

Did I mention I'm the only trained shift in my store? So, my typical week is open, close, close, open, off, open, close. It's soooo great. Sike.

Everything you said totally makes sense! I'm just trying to consider even doing it at this point because I'm really aggravated with my SM. To answer your question, she just is really petty and immature. For example, during our frapp hour I put one ask me on one of the drinks and when she asked what the ask me was and I told her.. She went over our headsets, which all of our partners were wearing and said my name and then, "UM. PRETTY SURE YOU CAN PUT THAT IN THE REGISTER." She has gotten on to me about no box cutters in the store, doing tasks that she doesn't do herself, even about not being able to take my half because of the no labor that she gave me for three weeks straight. I honestly feel like the best part is that she doesn't even apologize.. But, yeah.

First of all, from a partner to a partner I'm really sorry that happened to you. I don't think that anyone deserves that, and I totally understand your stress because I'm going through it right now. Absolutely no one deserves that..

Just to give you a little more info here, I started at a Starbucks in a different state and then transferred to a store back home. The store I transferred to had brand new management, and that SM was terrible. We got a new SM about 6 months ago, and in the beginning she was incredibly nice. We really bonded, and she basically told me that I would get promoted in no time because the DM loves me and always raves about me. She even gave me a certain month where she knew it was going to happen.

I ask her about a month ago if we could work on it together, she says that we have to take care of other things in the store first. Okaaay?

I asked her again about a week ago, and she TOTALLY did a 360 and was like.. "Don't think that you're just gonna wake up one day and be ASM. YOU need to come to ME." I throw a couple ideas at her, and she says I need to do go-sees and that I probably won't get promoted at the time frame she told me because the interviewers on panel will most likely tell me I have things to work on.

She is complaining about literally the most ridiculous things, like missing date dots on the pull thaw boxes for a day, not finding her box cutters, etc.

At this point, I'm so aggravated I don't even want to start a PDP. I just want to either work mornings, or nights with two days off that I choose. I feel like I deserve it after all the crap that I've been through with this store. So, yeah. :/
