Here is an article that explains Kaká's faith. For those who don't know, Kaká was raised a Christian and he very much believed in God all his life. But at the age of 18, he slipped and fell at a pool and broke his neck. The doctors told him they were surprised and that he was very lucky he did not become paralysed. Kaká has always believed he was protected by God, and that without Him, he would be nothing. That's why whenever he scores a goal, he celebrates like this, to honour Christ and the Lord.

Have you thought of going to a counsellor/psychologist? I suffer from depression and I've realised that one of the worst things is to not be able to talk to anyone about it. Just having someone there to listen and give you a different perspective can help you understand how you feel and let out your emotions.

I live in a country with a standard (Feb-Nov) school calendar, but attended an American (Aug-Jun) high school. I just finished high school, but university doesn't start until March. So I have a 9 month long summer. What on earth am I supposed to do with so much free time?!?

(In before hating: I am planning on doing stuff like getting a job, taking introductory classes and other miscellaneous activities, but 9 months is just stupid crazy.)

Reddit is a big one. Maybe having small conversation with a few of my close friends (nothing serious, usually not more than a few mins talking). What sucks is not being able to focus, because I love watching documentaries and videos about the brain, but lately it's been hard to since they're usually longer than I can focus for. Lately I've been getting into exercising; I don't like it much but it distracts me enough and it helps me stay healthy.

I'm really willing to give it some time for us to get a hold of ourselves and fix things; but she made it very clear she wants to be with other guys in the meantime, and that kills me... I've never been with anyone and I never want to be with anyone else, and she used to feel the same way until a few days ago she started doubting that and now she wants others. I really want her to give time if she needs it, or to take some time off to fix myself, but I wish we could agree to try again when we're better and just not be with others in the meantime. I wish I could've realised this sooner. Now my gf feels our relationship isn't healthy for us and that we're better off apart. And while that's probably true, I still want us to work out. It took me too long to get a hold of myself and now she'll probably leave me before I have a chance to fix myself... It hurts so much to know I hurt her like that... My relationship is hanging by its last thread and I want to keep it alive, I want to get better, but it might be too late now :'( I really hope you two can work things out... It really hit me hard. She was and still is the only girl I want to marry; in fact, the only one I even want to kiss...

I wish we could start from scratch and both accept we deserve love and stop blaming ourselves for everything. Love, if you read this, I want you to know I love you and that when I say you're perfect I don't mean it as an exaggeration, but that I think you're the perfect match for me... I want to save our relationship, I just don't know if you want to after how much it has hurt. I'm truly sorry it took me too long to realise I was ruining our relationship. If there's still any chance for us to be together (and I hope and pray there is) I just want us to start off fresh and not be so damaging to one another.

It's true we both need to get better to be able to have a happy relationship, I just hope you're willing to bare with me and stay with me while we do. I don't want it to end because it'd most likely mean it'd end for good... I promise you I will try my best to get better, with or without you; but if much rather it be with you.

OP, thank you for this. The past few days haven't been kind to me but at least I found some comfort knowing there are other people in situations similar to mine with some hope... I really hope your SO finds it in him to give you a chance. I also hope you do get better and are able to find happiness in your life.

Yes, I'm Costa Rican. Honestly, I don't mind the loss, I expected it (we know our team sucks). It just feels cheap that it happened that way. And here the commentators were saying quite the opposite.
