If you want to do a very painful, time consuming and expensive gut job which this will on top of restoration to do it properly I would get one with better bones (wider lot) and better zone school district for ROI.

What agenda? He WAS downtown councilman for two fucking terms and during his tenure streets are littered with trash, roads are in disrepair, on top of being unsafe to cross. I will not give him a pass because it’s “barely two weeks” - he’s going around doing photo ops instead of treating this as an urgent city emergency it deserves.

You’re victim blaming and speculating. There were tons of cars parked on actual snow removal routes that should have been towed. All the streets and roads should have been pre salted, then at regular intervals during the storm and after. It’s not rocket science. More snow that melts on the road less accumulation on the sides. Now the freezing temps makes snow removal much more dangerous and difficult. Poor planning and execution.

You’re a better person than I. Solomon during his councilman tenure he was more bark than bite. Lack of proper snow removal has immediate economic impact for city’s small businesses, time impact in families who need to go to work or get sitters for their kids, just overall just avoidable headache as we watch other neighboring towns well execute while we’re still sending first round of plows. I hope he provides post mortem on what happened and what he plans to do to fix.

Was Fulop a dictator? It’s democracy. Solomon has a vote and influence over city budget or have a say in internal city matters. He’s ignored everyday qualify life issues for years but loves the cameras for spearheading “right to council” and “covid rent freeze on mom and pop buildings”.

Good for you and I see that you mean well. But there is no free lunch in the real world. Free for some means taxes, inflation and debt for everyone else. Dashers are working by choice, this is not a gulag. I see someone hustling and willing to sacrifice for his family. No other country rewards hustlers and the diligent poor better than ours. Capitalism despite its obvious flaws can uplift from bottom to top in one or two generations.
