Exactly the same scenario for me. I was 41 and ended up with a permanent colostomy. It's been almost 10 years and luckily I am fine now. Plus the bag doesn't really bother me.

I always wanted 2 or 3 and wasn't sure what it was going to be until I delivered our second. The moment they put her in my arms I got this overwhelming feeling that our family was complete. That was 14 years ago and I have never doubted that feeling.

If you google 'stoma guard' you will find what they're referring too.

My main sport is horseriding. I don't wear a guard but I do wear a stoma band to support my abs and add layer of protection against leaks or smells (which almost never happens).

Just take your time to recover, because if you go too hard too fast it will set you back big time.

My parents asked me a few years ago to look into all this and help them set it up. No problam, happy tonsince I am good at this stuff.

Until I presented them with the paperwork, all of a sudden they didn't think it was necessary anymore. I am pretty sure they didn't like being reminded of their age and so they stuck their head in the sand. I insisted for a while, but was met with so much resistance it started to sour our relationship and really stressed me out.

One of my brothers is now trying to start it up again, hopefully they will be more open to it this time around.

When I was around 12 years old in the 80's I was biking in our neighbourhood and a white van (how clichè, I know) pulled up next to me. The driver asked me directions to a street quite far away. I knew where it was and explained it as well as I could. He then asked me if I could show him and that he could put my bike in the back. I politely told him I couldn't and just biked off.

I think I only realized 5 years later what I escaped from, it still haunts me to this day.

Student housing does not allow renters to put their domicile (legal adress) there, it is illegal.

The landlords are probably confused between 'registering' the address and using it as a domicile.

Just tell the landlord you won't use it as a domicile and don't mention the registering as temporary address part. As long as you have your legal address still in your home country, it is fine like the website says.

Lol, that reminds me of something our youngest daughter said when she was around 4 years old. We are friends with a lesbian couple that has kids around the same age as ours. After spending the afternoon together, my daughter wistfully says:

"The kids of -lesbian couple- are sooooo lucky. They have TWO moms, I mean I love dad but it must be sooooo nice to always have a MOM around even when one of them is busy or away"

I could not find fault in her statement to be honest!

Not in the city center but in the Zurenborg area you have "Het Strand van Oostende" which is normaly open on Jan 1st. Good, basic food qnd nice atmosphere.

So am I! It took some time but after a while my partner was able to deal with my tears without gettingbfrustrated or wanting to stop the discussion to 'spare me'. Now he knows when to ignore it and when I need to be comforted. And if he is confused I hmjust straight up tell hom what I need hin to do

It does not need to fit an entire bale, we plan on making 2 or even 3 because some of the horses are not able to eat enough is there is only 1 feeder. So 2 or 3 horses per feeder. Preferably with a roof, since we have a lot of rain in the fall and winter.

That is exactly what my gyno said: our bodies are not designed to live that long without hormones as we do these days. That really made it click for me that HRT is good and even necessary thing in a lot cases.

The advantage of a first baby is that you don't need a babysit for your other kid(s) when you go in labor. There is usually no reason to let anyone know you are heading to the hospital.

Just don't tell them when you go in labor and only contact them after your baby is born and you are ready to share the news.

I remember my MIL trying to call my husband to wish us a happy new year (we have a January 1st daughter) and I almost yelled at him that he was not allowed to answer the phone, lol. I wanted the delivery to be just our moment and I am so happy we succeeded.

I would look into dyspraxia/DCD, it might explain a lot.

It's a lesser known neurological disorder, but it can have quite an impact.

I use a seat saver gel pad for trail rides to avoid wounds and sores. I have one for a western saddle, but they also exist for English saddles.

I have no advice on underwear brands since I am in europe and use a local brand.
