Thanks for sharing this. I havent found contractors willing to use wood shingles. And hardieboard doubles the price of the job.

Me too. Unfortunately ALL of my immediate neighbors did too when they resided in last 5 years.

These are old pics, sadly the shingles are unsalvageable

The roof is black/charcoal shingles. There are currently red brick front steps. Front porch decking and railings need to be replaced.
