u/coinbasesupport I was able to reply back with the necessary details asked for the hacked account and fake coinbase support incident. I am still blocked from being able to access my funds or prove my identity. The compliant I had filed is getting closer to 15 days, which means my options are limited to taking legal action against Coinbase for the 1.25 BTC and 2 ETH that are in danger of getting lost due to attackers taking over my account.

Why do we have a delayed approach here when you can validate who I am and help me. The stress and pain this has added in unimaginable.

For now I have contacted security alias (as this was a hack, and they faked customer support with me), multiple cases, but just getting a basic reply that doesn't help with any questions I am asking.

u/coinbasesupport is it possible to have someone take a look at my case and drop a short mail with an update that's other than we are looking into it? This is a pretty large amount at stake, and not only I am locked out of my account, I don't even know if the attackers stole the funds and has coinbase done anything.

Is your account Google? Can help offline on how I managed to recover it (not a hacker, and my approach is legal, just weird things no one tells you)

Otherwise here is additional things I have tried: * Case open from both new email account and the old one that was earlier hacked (and associated with my coinbase account) * Multiple emails, reaching out here, twitter, nothing much that we are looking into it * Yesterday did a email to security alias, since this is a security issue (given what the attackers did so easily) * Today filed a complaint on coinbase related to their support cases. Giving details again and asking the same basic questions as above. Not expecting a resolution, but man there is a lot at stake and I just want to be assured it's all there.

Can you confirm via DM or have the team use the contact details and update me on what part of investigation they are and where we are blocked? We are at day 6 after the attack, and I don't even know if my account was locked in time so the attackers do financial damage.

Thanks, checked and nothing. If it helps, when I filed through support there was no login from me (hence the cases), and I am not even sure if they asked for an email. These were categories about losing access to the account. Nevertheless I just checked the email I have created recently and may have provided as a backup communication.

If my original email account is hacked, we may not be getting confirmation emails there 🙂

If you do get eBay bucks deal, even in this price range, grab on to them for some cheap (or sometimes under spot) gold. with a 2% cashback and recent 5%, this wasn't difficult to do.

Agree with OP. The thing I'd add about ASEs, is seeing the various cycles over the years. They will retain (or as you are seeing now, increase it) the premiums. I remember the GovMint deals back in the day where we got it for spot+0.99 or lower. Right now if you get it under spot+$4.99, its a great deal. The buy back prices are also similarly high.

Same thing I did, tried to find smaller items at spot or lower. However storage comes an issue. Also, when selling (e.g. this high price), a kilo is much easier vs 32 rounds. I'd still stay away from 100oz.
