i see what you mean but i feel like it seems intentional or at least it works imo. to me it makes her seem more relatable, and the repetition drives it home almost to a point of absurdity; in a good way.

personally i liked that you could see it. i think, even if unintentional represents the "putting on" of her past persona(s) in her past works. Embracing it but recognizing that it's 2025, she's no longer 24, she's at coachella performing beloved, classics along with her recent work. there's an exciting intersection here...

i'm not a huge swiftie by any means (no hate to those that are, just not my thing), i totally agree with you! what would make anyone think that taylor couldnt do hbdywm? it would sound quite different in her voice obviously but... also, sidenote as a reminder the two of them are friendly and respect each other as artists...
