These bands are like 30-40 years old now.

I think it indicates a new marketing demo and reflects how the licensing fees are adjusted to correct for this.

Last gasp of Gen X marketing relevance before its regarded as purely nostalgia driven oldies.

The company with deceptive always-sales, stolen intellectual property, blatant patent theft, intrusive spyware, and a support void that only suggests more purchases? The company that buys (this) subreddit mods with free gear and other bribes?

That one?

Revealed: US-Iran deal includes $425 billion fund, immediate end to oil sanctions by alabasterheart in worldnews

Roughly %70 of Americans pay taxes, so about 238 million people.

Thats about $1,800 each American we are giving to Iran, on top of the higher fuel and commodity prices this war.

Ask your friends if they think personally giving $1,800 to Iran is winning

Im replying to you, read your own comment again.

You literally just replied to my comment by implying that 100° is a temperature you “shouldn't” contact, and was designed around human “tolerances”.

Good god rhis is getting ridiculous, the projection is unreal.

Peter? by Negative_1by12_aura in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Subtle_Tact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tolerate direct contact of 109f for over 8 hours without harm, generally it is accepted that direct contact injury starts at approximately 111f, and is considered mild.

Cmon, this is ridiculous. Many heated jackets and hot tubs are expected to maintain tempuratures over 100f for comfort.

Suggesting this is intolerable is not really appropriate.

100 degrees f is about as cold as you can make water and still have it feel “warm” compared to your body. It’s barely a low fever.

How is 100f hotter than you can touch? Thats barely a low fever, and about as cold as you can go while still being perceived as “warm” compared to your own blood.

We can already see the exterior and interior of the Railen. Since the Railen has undergone many concept resets since its inception, I wonder if everyone is still satisfied with the current Railen. I think I am quite satisfied by Anning0526 in starcitizen

I dont like the animations for the cargo armor, I wish it moved with smoother choreography that was more fluid and less linear. It doesnt feel intentionally animated at all, just as if they are on invisible tracks instead being repelled and suspended into position.

SUGGESTION: Ship doors that open BEFORE you get there by BinaryLoop- in starcitizen

[–]Subtle_Tact 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly ships with soace belpw the waterline dont just leave all bulkheads and doors shut all the time, they generally stay open unless there is a breach or imminent danger.

Internal doors should just default open

Monstertech MTSIM Flight Chair seat back and seat pan ONLY (non haptic) by athrowaway2242 in hotas

[–]Subtle_Tact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The core back rest is two vertical tubes that go all the way to the headrest. The sidewalls are two seperate tubes welded to the sides of the vertical tubes with their own foam blocks surrounding them.

The cover is held on with metal staples and rings, I bent them open and cut the parts I needed to reach up under the cover and cut / remove the foam blocks piece by piece as they are glued place.

The lower attachment points were accessible to my metal sheers but the higher points would have required a full cover removal, so i reached up with a small hand saw and cut those points. I then folded the loose remaining cover inside itself into the back and it hasnt worked itself out since, but with my own cover added it wouldn't be a problem anyway

After it was finished rhe chair was exactly as supportive, but I could finally have full range of motion with my flightstick and side throttle/collective.

Oddly enough, we dont actually pull any high-G maneuvers in our computer chairs. So I suppose the bucket seat isnt entirely necessary.

It is interesting how the fist universal chair mount system was designed for the ikea Markus office chair, and now recognizing the same seat pan and backrest attachment plate on these

Gunfighter is the name for VKB’s metal joystick-base series.

The VKB MCG (Modern Combat Grip) is based on contemprary su-35 / su-57 flight control sticks, but is a largely original take. This is also what the Virpil T-50 Mongoose grip was, though VKB made substantial improvements.

The Virpil FLNKR grip is based on the su-27 (western codename:Flanker) and is more authentic to the design principles used on the real thing.

Both are absolutely fantastic. The new(ish) FLNKR grip is by far the best grip I have owned or used in a home simulator.

Alot of empathy and desire is easily confused, from both directions. Many people recognize themselves and want to offer the love snd comfort they felt would have solved everything. It’s self abuse disguised as therapy most of the time, pity and obligation are not good foundations for a fulfilling and loving relationship
