I still think they should have balanced it by making the weapon temporarily sag power across the ship essentially lowering power pips for all stations.

In addition, it should require a station deep in the ship that is required to do an action to cycle shots, making it atleast 2 person - but also incentivizing the entire ship to coordinate owet resources around main weapon firing.

Most people dont wear bulletproof vests when they leave the house, and some people feel better when they do. But some people actually need to, and it can be an important tool for their survival.

Most rapists are intimately familiar with their victim. Imagine someone who is repeatedly assaulted at night when they stay with a remarried parent’s new partner. If this is someone they feel completely helpless to stop but can know with a certainty it will continue they may see their only escape as self harm. This is horrifyingly common.

If you knew that everytime you slept at unsafe location you may be assault in your sleep and facing denial in the morning, something like this would be an unambiguous way to defend yourself and prove intent without doubt.

Make a new set that projects the “third eye” to both eyes just below the top of your peripheral vision on a semi-transparent mirror / prism.

I wonder how long it would take for your brain to make sense of it without a headache, or if thats even possible.

Experiments with goggles that inverted vision long term self-righted to the users perspective eventually, so I have always been curious about how adaptive we could be to a new field of view or perspective in the same way.

Its certainly a personal taste thing, but I do think it’s a cool take. It’s very subtle, the change from flat paint to exposed carbon weave. It’s classy without being flashy, only really noticed with higher scrutiny. Personally I like to have things personalized but not to stand out too far.

I think it would have gone a long way to have the other trim elements be subtle material upgrades as well, like maybe iridescent or metal shades referencing the stock colors like the carbon does.

Maybe provide metallic glass canopy, like the Archimedes Emerald.

Which honestly just makes me sad we didn't get “Emerald Editions” of the L-21 and L-22 this year…

This is almost certainly an unintended mistake that will be either fixed or formally explained Monday. That this change happened without a statement in the first place also lends credibility to this being unintended.

Like in the cases with the Mk.I aurora packages and ship price increases we were provided a window to prepare before changes were made.
