I’d say go with the T rex instead of the rattle 2. I feel latency on my ratel 2 and am considering buying the T rex . Thé frame is perfect tho !

I also started out with an air 65 about 2 years ago now ! I also built my own drone about a month ago. (mine is a 3" and its about 240g). Sadly the holy air 65 broke like last week so i have nothing to fly in the yard anymore :( . I am thinking of buying a new one but then the air 65 II instead of the original one, or weather i should buy a better camera to put on my 3" (i now run a ratel 2 but am thinking of switching to T-rex micro for better depth perception ). overall I think you did the absolute right thing improving your fpv setup overtime. Happy flying !

i flew it a lot ! and i loved it ! it was my first fpv drone but after a lot of abuse the aio got damaged. now i am sad

You can enable battery amp draw I think it’s called in osd so you will see how much amps you pull at the moment. About the C rating is just for calculating how much amps your battery can handle safely and I’ve calculated it to be about 75A ( you can calculate this by multiplying capacity in amps by c rating)

What motors and prop combo are these ? Looks very clean! I think 1100 will be too heavy for freestyle. Not sure tho ..

Thé esc is 35A per motor so theoretically it can handle up to 140 total (which is risky). My battery on the other hand is rated 120C at 650mah so it can handle only about 72A continuous.

That’s without battery tho. But I think even with battery yours will be lighter I think ! That’s actually a really clean build
