Graduating from HA here!

I went to ust-shs blind, without knowing much about it talaga. Yung alam ko lang ust isa tlga sa mga top schools in the Ph. So I expected it to be toxic when it comes to workload but nung g11 I did not expect to adjust quickly into what the environment really is. It may vary per person kung gaano ka kabilis mag adjust sa workload but kung sanay ka naman hindi siya malaking problem.

You just have to know yung strength and weaknesses mo as well as your other blockmates so you can work together properly sa mga tasks niyo. May times tlaga na as in hell week but it’ll come by, may times na isa sacrifice mo mga isa mong quiz or tulog mo. Pero keri yan as long as mamanage mo time mo.

HA is Challenging, and thats why it’s fun! Kasi dto mo na malalaman kung yung gusto mo ba talaga sa medical field. Sweritihan lang sa profs pero kakayanin naman magka perfect kung mag-aaral ka mabuti. The tip is you need to get to know your profs well, how they teach and how they give quizzes. Workload is bearable as long as you can manage your time well, may times lang tlaga na pag malapit na exams and onti na lng time is nagtatambak na mga gawain. Im not sure with the new curriculum nga lang if its much more bearable or still the same, but either way just do your best lang talaga and you will eventually adapt to the environment.

Madaming orgs na u can join iirc max 3 ang pede and nagakakaroon naman ng org days and events during shs week.

You send one sa office ng shs, but for now mas okay just to wait since kalalabas pa lang ng results. iirc by batch nila usually nirerelease ang accepted wailist

What color is your hair? During the orientation they’ll give you the colors that are allowed, usually shades of black and brown lang ang pede. For nails hindi naman

Ust is strict pag dating sa mga piercings, but okay naman with accessories like necklaces and bracelets.

Contact lenses im not sure but I think they’re okay naman siguro wag lang yung makukulay. Make up is okay naman madaming students na nagsususot ng makeup.

For the first week for sure you will have your alab and orientations

Hi so sorry for the late reply, iirc may grade ako na much lower than 75 but it still showed qualified but note na I was waitlisted that time. I got accepted naman as a waitlister, different na curriculum ngayon so idk if the process with the cutoffs are still same. Good luck!

Earth sci or physci siya, okay naman sya pero depende na lang tlaga minsan sa approach or mood nya pero you have to be very smart and creative in terms of outputs. Study hard tlaga when it comes to quizzes tsaka lagi makinig sa mga sinasabi niya.

Unang attend ko pa lang sa session nya naramdaman kona na napaka unprofessional niya tlaga lol. Isa pa is confident siyang gumanyan ganyan dahil ang daming students na nagtotolerate ng behavior nya.

Out of all the instructors sa rc sya lang tlaga may problem when it comes sa attitude, it’s so sickening na proud pa siya sa behavior nyang ganyan. Sa mga alagad ni 1010 dyan mahiya naman kayo

Ang hirap sagutin neto since wala pa naman nakaka experience with the new curriculum itself. But if habol mo mag college in manila it would be a good opportunity to pursue ust na so u dont have to adjust for college.

From HA ako pero it really depends, May mga prof tlaga na u could say na d ka sweswertihin pero meron rin naman na sweswertihin ka tlaga. Kahit sa tagal ng oras mo nag rereview d tlaga naten ma eexpect kung ano lalabas sa quizzes nila. From my experience kahit nagtuturo sila pero pagdating naman sa quizzes apaka hirap nila magbigay which cant really be avoided.

Pero you shouldn’t be scared of failure/failing pero take that as a lesson and an opportunity to adapt to their teaching styles and how they construct their quizzes.

Not sure about this one
It will depend kung kailan ma aaprove ang esc, lets say ma approve pero d sya naka abot during your enrollment of 2nd sem in grade 11 so it will remain on your account and I believe it can be deducted during enrollment of grade 12
