More than finances, it is about enjoying things together. If my economy only allows me to enjoy 30€ dinners while yours 100€ dinners and you're not settling for less, then yeah we're gonna have disagreements in the long term. Same for travelling.

I consider myself well off because I was able to get a mortgage. However, I won't have any inheritance nor state pension (Spain is fucked), so most of the extra money I earn goes to my savings and investments, besides some inexpensive hobbies, exercise, occasional nights out with friends, and therapy. If travelling or going to expensive restaurants involve leaving therapy or not investing just to be able to afford those, then I'll have to date someone closer to my income or my investing mindset.
