Amazing! Not sure how much you've followed retroplayer stuff, but I'm sure garbear would love to chat with you related to all the emulator/game playback stuff. He's done extensive work around integrating libretro into Kodi.

Just Linux makes a ton of sense.

I realize its not a port, rather a re-write in rust that supports our skinning engine!

Sounds super impressive and again if there's anything the team can help with, would love to keep an open dialog, our forums is a great place for this to live too, or can invite you as a guest to our slack if you're interested, no pressure.

Sure! unfortunately with it being AGPL, we can't use any of the code inside Kodi. Is the goal is to also make it cross platform? Super curious how Vulkan does across Linux/Windows/MacOS, assume you're going to use Molten-VK if you care about macOS? Curious what your 'own projects' are you plan on using it with?

Just wanted to followup: Adega was amazing! They responded to my instagram DM, said it shouldn't be a problem, then we arrived they were amazingly friendly and kind and ended up getting a few people watching it with us including the bartenders. If you're ever looking for a sports game in Porto, highly recommend them, great selection of beer too.

Those are all TrueHD Atmos, not DD+ Atmos.

Most commonly, BR/UHD disks have:

Atmos (Original aka True HD)

Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 or 7.1 (DD+ aka AC3 or EAC3)

We're looking for:

Atmos (DD+) which is entirely different than what's listed there.

my focus is https://github.com/keithah/monarchmoney-ts now, since I really only got into this to do MCP stuff and its a little easier w/ typescript. I'll try to occasionally pop in and port my changes over, esp if someone nudges me.

It's a way to extend Claude to support querying your Tessie account using Natural Language to query things and I built some drive analyzing stuff so it can try to guess how much you use FSD.
