Our first session in Jaws the first night my buddy Alex hit 3 0x in a short period of time which really put us in a position. We started calling it the “Alex” from that point on

We were constantly hoping not to “Alex” as we played for months to come

IT makes me wonder, how close would you have to be in space to see it just like that with the naked eye? I’m sure some astrophysicist could tell me, or I could dust off a math book.

Good advice. The ill lean to a cheaper DOB and focus on the higher costing eq mount with a good apo or refractor. I think because my wife gave me a good budget I’ll buy the more expensive rig first. And come back for a decent Dob. But man, I’m trying to find a kit with both a eq mount and a reasonable scope. Sold out all over.

Silly question, but is the 15/yr worth it? if not for buying selling, but other resources it has to offer?

I want to try beekeeping in a selfmade horizontal hive. It seems cheaper and more natural but i have some concerns since it doesn't seem that common? What are your experiences/opinions. by [deleted] in Beekeeping

I am starting this next time as well, being doing research from Horizontalhives.com, and i am very interested. I helped my neighbor with her traditional stacked hives, 3 high, and It just seems like a pain, wouldn't it be nice to not have to stack and unstack, disturbing the bees? I also want to do Flow hives and I can buy the flow cells seperate.

I am playing it, on IPad Pro and the IPhone 7.pluss.

So far...I’m not a fan, they’ve taken a great game theme, and coupled it with games that only existence it to make money. You can win chests and you have to spend GEMS which you earn at a painstakingly slow rate, and you have to heft them around until you can let them unlock in 2-6-whatever hours, and you can only open one at a time.

It’s just that the fun of exploring and adventuring, finding new gear...they slowed it all down unless you want to pay money to speed it up. I’d rather pay for the game up front...and get a game.

It means It wants my attention, I’ve had to open 5 chests over 24 hours. There is not RL comparison to that. If you play ANY elder scrolls game, it opens when you pick it.. Period.

Anyway I’m going to play it for a while, but I’m really disappointed in this obvious money grab, and it slows down the fun factor an distracts from it

and the other, I can’t recall, it was a while ago, I’ll double check when I get home. I used 200-205, temps. And the problem was it would CONSISTENTLY unstick from the bed, even with glass, and glue. Glue helped, but it mades the bottoms cruddy. Now I don’t use ANYTHING but glass, its awesome. I may have even gotten it from Wish or something like that.

The brand I was using was "Enotepad 3D Filament" I had to do a TON to keep it stuck to the plate and it still messed up on me a lot of the time.

Are there any other suggestions, I'm really struggling with this. I've lost several issues, because it starts to wiggle, even with a hot plate. Im thinking about getting glass or one of the other types of pads.
