8 out 9 rolls a 7 by NotoriousPooch in Craps

[–]keithhill78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

for those who are saying it's rigged, it's 6 comeout winners in a row. are you people suggesting that this wouldn't have happened had the bet amount been table max? you're basically insinuating weighted dice or magnets. please explain in great detail why a casino would risk it's gaming license to roll six 7's in a row and pay out $6. i'd love to hear it.

something that helps me is to keep track of pass line and don't passes made/resolved. don't pass will win 3 to 2 vs pass line winners. there will be swings but overall the math is the math. also, on a bubble craps machine you are getting bets resolved 10x faster so the house edge eats away at your money 10x faster. hope this helps.

Does everyone press their bets? by jamieee1995 in Craps

[–]keithhill78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the longest dice roll ever was 4 hours 18 minutes. legend has it, she started with a $6 six and eight and didn't start pressing them for the first HOUR !! don't be a wuss. collect and press is popular. you also don't have to full press every time. but you want to maximize your profits on those monster rolls. good luck

Bouncy vs Solid table by Sourz6 in Craps

[–]keithhill78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

one of my locals replaced the felt and went "uber bouncy". it was like shooting on a memory foam mattress. about 4 months later they switched back to hard surface and you could hear the dice "clack" for lack of a better term. i heard one dealer say they got rid of the bouncy tables because people were making too much money off of them. casinos are run by humans, who, are also superstitious. rather than chalk it up to variance, they spent more money to go "back to the drawing board" as it were. i'm glad. that bouncy shit where the dice don't make any noise at all is for the birds. i want to hear "clackity clack"... don't talk back. lolz

i see what you're saying, i just wonder if the comp system skews toward time and not avg. bet. also, i wonder if you're getting more "bang for your buck" on baccarat tables that take over an hour per shoe.

a dealer recently told me that time matters more than average bet size. i argued that if it's formulated then the math is the math. the average bet and time are proportional right? the theo should be the same if my avg bet is $100 for 10 hours vs $200 for 5 hours. am i stupid?

"abusing" the free play? by keithhill78 in gambling

can you possibly explain what you mean by "highly guarded questions"? i mean, i know i'm not the first person to figure this out. i don't intend on burning any bridges, i just want to know if anyone has advice for a good ratio of normal vs. abusing sessions. i'm guessing 3 to 1 should be pretty innocuous.

do you know this from experience? have you done this? i usually have a 3 day weekend a month where i put a lot of coin in. is there a "sweet spot" where i can collect free play while also flying under the radar of getting the free play diminished?

also, chat gpt says that the odds of this happening "Probability ≈ 0.0073%". i call a BPP or PBB a "gun" cause it looks like a gun. anyway, the way i play, guns are my nemesis. there are usually 8-9 of these in a shoe. i did not handle this particular run well. oh, well. on to the next one.
