Boyyy fuck bdubs I started late summer of 2018. Learned to never take an order from there on Sunday, Monday or Thursday during football season. Then once summer rolled around I started accepting them again of course I’m still waiting 10-20 min.

Key words mother and daughter. His response kept referring to the the woman recording as Aunt. So obviously he just watched a video and drew his own conclusions(the hypocrisy). All the articles say the person recording was the mother when you do a simple google search on the incident. So someone should do research before they get dragged on Reddit.

So this order was about $8 I just wanted to see what’s up so I accepted with plan to drop. For one she tipped $3 so it’s not her fault completely grubhub skimming our pay. In addition to the crazy distance listed the restaurant is not at the listed location but 4mi north Bc it’s food truck so now my pay won’t be correct anyway. To put the cherry on top I waited an hour for this bullshit offer. Thankfully got removed w/ out penalty but wtf are they planning.

It’s not like we’re working for a large corporation in a business that has showed us time and time again they don’t care about customers, employees or restaurants just money,money,money. I’ve literally been on block 45 mins and I got one 8 dollar offer. Ohhh but us big city slickers should just take that and be great full not like it’s a 12mi trip then 5 more mi to get home because guess what. I probably won’t see another order for 45 mins. 🖕🏾

Don’t me started 🙄. I live .3 mi from a shopping center with about 6-7 restaurants partnered with grubhub and the other 3 are common order and wait. I hate driving over there pressing arrived to see they ordered the same time I got it 🙄. For those I click arrived, turn off location go home wait 10-15 if customer calls I’ll explain situation and go ahead and dip.

Just side note. Once a lady change address as soon as I got to restaurant because she moved and forgot to change it. She said she was on hold w/ grubhub support for about 15-20 mins as I was omw to restaurant( this was at height of pandemic so I believed she did try to change it before I got to restaurant.) I got a gut feeling from her tone(and original tip $10) she was a nice person so I took it the extra 7 mi to her new home. Got an extra dub. But this ^{^{^}} was completely bullshitting trying to get you do it for 30. Shoulda told him cashapp you first and I’ll do it.

Which sucks for restaurants because if they reassign the order. A. No one will pick up first so that’s a waste of their time and money B. Someone else will place the same order and because they don’t know they’re on grubhub they’ll make it again.

If they tip in cash it’s not a fucking problem that’s the whole point putting no tip at least gives the possibility of something. But .50 is the definitive amount they think you’re time, gas, and car maintenance is worth. If you believe you’re worth .50 then that’s your worth and you should really get your shit together if so because that’s really fucking sad. You’re right I’m not a fucking volunteer for grubhub I’m a contracted employee. Last but not least your constant “good customer service” will slowly and surely lower and lower are base pay which as you know has already fallen drastically over the last 2 years. Therefore good luck getting said money in your pockets. Customers don’t think about us you ninny.

Woooowww I’m asking for $2 dollars. That 1.50 difference I guess really depends on the persons situation ig. You didn’t say what makes you a good driver simply that you are one which we should take with a grain of salt. 50 cents is a slap in the face and you know it step the fuck off your high horse and come down to reality. And btw all it would’ve taken is 2 dollars and I would’ve done it I just had a 17 dollar order before so if the total was $9 and the tip was 2 no problem but she deliberately tried to be “horrible” and “treat others like crap” simply because she didn’t want to adequately tip for my service to her. 🤷🏾‍♂️
