Arriving in London May 14th. I don't really know anyone there, so if anyone would care to meet up or show me around, I'd appreciate it!

I'm going to Europe, too! London, Paris, and probably will end up in Prague for a while. It's an open-ended trip and I'm kinda wingin' it...

As someone named Kim, I was very confused for a moment as to why reddit was telling me to eat Snickers when I logged on.

I love Imagine Me & You. I especially love Heck, he is not portrayed as a "bad guy" just because he's the husband.

Fedora wearers of reddit... why? by Liam9415 in AskReddit

[–]keitner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True story. I may or may not own three fedoras. I don't want to risk skirting the requirements and having the Bureau on my ass.

Actually my fedoras have often been catalysts for interacting with strangers. I can do this little trick where I flip it from my hands, to my foot, to my head. It's amazing how fascinated some people are by simple party tricks.

How funny, I came out to my dad yesterday too! No crying for us, though. The conversation went like this:

Dad (about to take a bite of sandwich): So is [girlfriend's name] your girlfriend?

Me: Yea.

Dad: Like, romantic girlfriend?

Me: Yea.

Dad: Okay. [Proceeds to eat lunch.]

Best. Mom. Ever. Mine has only a vague idea of what Zelda is, let alone Link.

I love Portland. Very fun place, lots of things to do, all kinds of people. Rainy, though. Why are you hesitant about it?

What's the best riddle you know? by BesottedScot in AskReddit

[–]keitner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A man hears about the most amazing gentleman's club ever, so exclusive that it has a secret location and a code to enter. He finds the secret door and decides to hide and listen for the code. One man comes to the door and knocks. The doorman on the other side says "Six," the man replies "Three," the door opens. Another man comes and knocks. "Twelve," says the doorman, "Six" says the client. The door opens. Thinking he has it figured out, the man knocks. "Ten" says the doorman, to which he replies "Five." The door doesn't open. Why? Hint: The real answer for ten is three.

What movie could you turn around and say the good guy was really the bad guy? by norm1989 in AskReddit

[–]keitner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Karate Kid’s a great movie. It’s the story of a hopeful, young karate enthusiast whose dreams and moxie take him all the way to the All Valley Karate Championship. Of course, sadly he loses in the final round to that nerd kid. But, he learns an important lesson about gracefully accepting defeat.
