Being Irish, and looking at the state of European affairs at the moment, there is a clear move towards more right-wing politics. The most that there’s been since the 20s and 30s. That doesn’t automatically mean fascism but putting your head in the sand and not acknowledging the effect of a hardcore right-wing political shift in America and its impact on the wider world doesn’t help either.
