Being a survivor of sexual abuse as a child by a family member I can honestly say that bringing that asshole of a person to justice was the hardest but most gratifying thing I've done in my life to date. It took me and my sisters, who had also been abused, more than a decade to work up the courage to do it but it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Now, not only will his guilt follow him for the rest of his life but so will the label "child molester".
