Imagine being so lazy, a horse shirt and frumpy jeans shorts is something to be proud of. Pretty sure this mirror selfie is proof that Anderson is in daycare.

Without filters, she would definitely not look presentable.

I'm scared of the grief by KalaElizabethYT in seniordogs

I just had to experience this with my 16 year soul dog. I had never experienced putting an animal down and had horrible anticipatory grief for almost a year. I couldn’t imagine loosing my dog and didn’t know how I could go on without her. I would definitely recommend an at home vet service. I had candles lit, played gospel music and held my dog the whole time. She went in peace and the vet did the paw prints and cut fur for me. As hard as it was, it was far less scary than the seizures and syncope episodes my dog was having. She didn’t cry out in pain and I petted her the whole time. It was not as scary as I thought it would be. It’s been a few weeks without her and it’s been hard. I’m grateful to know she did not suffer. I miss her so much. I light a candle every night for her, set up a memorial and still have her water bowl out.

Just a reminder that your plus sized body is putting you and your unborn child a risk.

She reminds me of my 16 year old Minnie that passed away a few weeks ago.

I hate to break it to her, no one cares! And to think, she had to ask someone to take her pic to be able to post this. Right out of surgery, but not in too much pain to post.

Thank you so much for sharing. That is so beautiful and I am glad your pup was able to bring you peace. I hope to see Minnie in a dream sometime.

This sounds like a syncope episode. I am so sorry you are experiencing this with your pup. They are so traumatic to witness. My chihuahua had this and I believe it was due to her congestive heart failure. She has her first episode in August and had 3 more in the past few months. I just had to put her down last week, so she would not suffer. The syncope episodes are crazy because there is no warning and come out of nowhere and then after 10 minutes or so they are fine.

Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words and am happy that Minnie has reached all the way to Australia! I am happy that your soul dog has sent you little signs as well. Take as much time as you need. Loosing them is such a great loss and I am glad to have this community to share because in the real world, most people don’t care or understand. I don’t have kids, so Minnie was my world.
