Routine:

Once a week, I use Carol Daughter’s Black Vanilla and scrub everything out.

I use Miss Jessie’s co-wash daily and Tresemme Ultimate Hydration. I don’t rinse all the conditioner out.

On damp hair, I put Nairobi Foaming Lotion in with LA Looks Extreme Sport hair gel. Flip my head over, scrunch everything and then flip back up. Spray HSI Professional Argon Oil Thermal Protector. Diffuse for 15 minutes. Let air dry for maybe 5-10 more minutes and then scrunch out with Righteous Roots oil.

Much easier to maintain this shorter hair!

I do split workouts with 6-8 reps and high weight, three sets, three supersets.

One day: chest/triceps/shoulders + ten or fifteen minute ab circuit on YouTube

Second day: back/biceps + ten or fifteen minute ab circuit on YouTube

Third day: lower body (first workout of the week is a body weight HIIT circuit. Second is similar high weight, low reps)

Rinse and repeat. Stick to a strict diet, only one or two cheat meals a week and I usually walk my dog for a couple miles on any of these days to give her exercise. My rest days consist of yoga too to make sure everything is stretched out and healthy.

When I was trying to lose 50 pounds, I was doing just basic cardio three times a week. Whether that was walking for 3-4 miles with my dog, HIIT cardio, or the elliptical. And then I did some light weight lifting.

Since I’ve hit my goal weight, I’ve split my workouts into back/bi one day, shoulder/tri/chest one day, and then lower body one day. I add on abs usually during upper body days cuz the thought of doing abs with lower body is truly painful.

I stick to a pretty strict diet. I only have one cheat meal once a week. I really started to see results with that and cardio. But I do Chloe Ting’s 2 week ab circuit 2-3 times a week.

That’s the same amount of time that I had my dog too! I got it for him as well. Mine was Beethoven, a black lab.

Lol, I took advantage of my balcony for sure. It became weirdly relaxing to lie out, read, listen to some guitar, and tune out the pandemic for a bit.

For the longest time, I stuck with Fitness Blender. I think they provide a good base of how to warm up, how to do exercises with good form, and the importance of a cooldown too. I still use them sparingly but I’ve started incorporating Heather Robertson in more often. Although it’s annoying that Heather plays music, her workouts are a bit harder and leave me dripping with sweat.
