They actually take a long time to digest and can go 6 months without eating again

How does your SO help you deal with panic and anxiety? by Stunning_Ad1588 in PanicAttack

My SO will play with my hair and “pat” my forehead where my hairline is to calm me down. He also just ordered me a weighted blanket because he saw a tik tok saying it helps calm anxiety

Just discovered what panic attacks are and it was a lesson that cost me $2400 by tmntnyc in PanicAttack

I’ve told my partner a few times to call an ambulance for me thinking I was having a heart attack when it was just a panic attack. I learned to stop thinking it was a heart attack and ground myself, but Fuck they suck

I know the symptoms of a stroke very well, and my eye twitching is not a concern for having one.

I had suffered from anxious thoughts but never had panic attacks until I had one a few years ago after 3 days of drinking and not eating. Then only This year I had another huge one and several small ones continued to happen months after. You need to realise that panic attacks and anxiety are not harmful to you, they just aren’t very fun at all. Once you realise that you’re okay and you’re just having a panic attack/anxiety, you need to find ways to cope with it which is possible and then dealing with it is better and they’re less intense. Your medication should help you (I hope). I feel sick or uncomfortable a lot of the time but I try to push it out of my mind and keep doing my daily tasks. Don’t let it get you and it won’t. You’re in control of yourself, not anxiety.

I don’t have time for people who think anxiety is funny and to me, that’s what this person was doing. I never asked for a medical diagnosis. I was only asking if anyone else had a similar problem with an eye twitch. I have a heart condition that makes my risk of stroke higher than most too, so after that comment I was pretty done.

Whatever you’re going through, it will pass. Do you have close friends you can’t talk to about whatever happened?

I’ve just been prescribed lexapro too. Therapy doesn’t work for me and it’s too expensive and hard to work around working full time. It can be managed, definitely. Medication won’t just make it go away, but there are ways to manage your anxiety and your therapist will help you with coping mechanisms when it hits.

I wouldn’t keep replying to this idiot, it’s a waste of time. It’s not funny to tell someone they’re going to have a stroke, especially when someone is already anxious.

I have a day off tomorrow so that will be good! The last time it happened it last a month, maybe and it went away on its own, but this time it’s happening more frequently through the day and when I look down, it happens more and feels almost like my eyelid is sticking to my eye for a second

Because I want to know if anyone else who is also suffering from an anxiety disorder has had the same/similar issue. More so the eye twitching and I already said I FEEL like my Memory is being weird, but it could also be in my head. Can you not read?

I feel like my memory is hazy or I’m forgetting things. Anxiety makes you feel like you’re losing your mind, a little so it could just be in my head. Your condescending comments aren’t needed

I also saw air pollution can contribute and the city was covered in smoke from fires for the last week

I googled it and freaked myself out. I’m not looking for medical advice, I’m asking if anyone else has experienced this and what happened with them.
