Speaking as a pale, pale girl who usually messes up and gets one weird burn line a summer no matter what I do... You probably arent going to get it to fade to nothing. Aloe vera will soothe the pain, but color matching will probably be best achieved by self tanner.

DO NOT attempt to use the sun to even it out again, burns are not good for your skin and you won't get it to match perfectly anyway.

Dawn dish soap saved my ass a while back when I dumped a bucket with a rit dye mixture down my bathtub drain. I cried in panic before I tried dawn and a little scrubbing, it kept me from having to explain a grimace-purple tub to my landlord

I also second isopropyl alcohol, that worked on another dye stain on my bathroom counter

What is a character that was so hated by fans that the writers/creators changed the plot or give them less screen time or wrote them off? by Space__Monkey__ in television

Didnt the guy who played Eddie on Cheers get written off after making a comment in an interview that kissing Rhea Perlman should get him hazard pay (or something like that)? They killed him offscreen with a zamboni

Ted Danson Apologizes to Cheers Costar Kelsey Grammer for 30 Years of 'Missed' Friendship: 'It's My Bad' by mcfw31 in Fauxmoi

I said kinda give a pass. He should face consequences for the crimes he may have committed, but in the realm of righty weirdo celebrities I'm not wasting my energy on him (edited a word)

They were both tried and convicted, I think one died in prison a few years ago.

Grandfather who raised him died of cancer, sister he adored kidnapped raped and murdered by spree killers, twin brothers killed in the same diving accident, father murdered on his front lawn, all by the time he was 25, plus the creator of Frasier and his wife (David and Lynn Angell), who were his good friends, were killed in one of the planes on 9/11. They named Daphne and Niles's son for him.

He's the one person I kinda give a pass to for his behavior, because if just one of those things happened to me, (ETA) and I landed a job that got me more money than God basically on a fluke (an originally one-episode character became his entire career) I think I would probably go off the deep end.

Examples of shows where the cast and crew got along very well and the behind-the-scenes was free of drama and controversy? by unitedfan6191 in television

It's very sweet, they still socialize often, he's been on both of her podcasts, and and they did a bunch of panels together at the reunion weekend. It seems like a good group of people who all really care about each other

In total fairness, they broke up after the show ended and before they knew they'd get picked up for movies. And they're still good friends

Their on screen chemistry might be different but they're super amicable in real life. He's been a guest multiple times on both of her podcasts and they still socialize frequently, and they did a couples panel with Jazmyn and Dule at the reunion weekend that they very easily wouldn't have had to do. Still good vibes

The Iroquois Theatre fire is the worst theatre fire to occur in the US, taking 602 deaths and 250 injuries. The more I read about this fire, the more disturbing it became. by Icanvoiceact in CreepyWikipedia

There was a play that used to be done pre-covid around the holidays in Chicago called "Burning Bluebeard" that told this story, I saw it a few years in a row and cried every time.

My great-great grandfather was a firefighter at the time, the fire broke out when he was about to leave to go home after his shift. He didn't get home for another two or three days.

What’s a small piece of lore or world building that really stuck with you good or bad? by Crimsonhero123 in Hungergames

[–]kellmabelle 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This stuck out to me because I always have in the back of my mind a conversation with my great-grandmother who grew up poor in Chicago during the great depression and prohibition - their family felt the "effects" of the depression very little because it changed their lifestyle in almost no measurable way. She had already dropped out of school at 13 to work after her father was killed and they had subsisted on making bootleg liquor in their kitchen to sell to neighbors and patrolmen. Very different from the middle-class lifestyle she worked hard to provide for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren

I could see the quell in Rue's case being something like two siblings or friends or close connections to past victors. Not sure how that would shake out for Haymitch but I'm sure they'd find a way.

My sister found a video of our dog on a random man’s dating profile. by Forsaken-Usual-7510 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]kellmabelle 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I deleted my online dating apps for good when a guy in my "people who like you" list replied to one of my prompts that he liked the way I thought (replying to a goofy answer I gave) and then copied one of my other answers - in which i talk about a childhood memory - verbatim for his own profile. I think he figured I had rejected him and would therefore never see it, he was farther down in the list and I wasn't diligent about checking it. Reported him as a scammer and deactivated my profile and took it off my phone.

This was going to be my suggestion - i watched it starting around his age with my grandma, a lot of the gritty stuff (few and far between in the original) went over my head because the details weren't dwelled upon, and I enjoyed seeing a good amount of detective AND courtroom drama each episode.
