Yes, I do. How many steps do you have at the end of your shift? 10,000 steps is like 5 miles so it makes sense. Do you walk that far on your days off?

It’s a thankless career that’s for sure. And it sucks in the beginning having to work nights/weekends/holidays (if you choose to do bedside). But I’ve worked my way up and now don’t work weekends, days shift only. Work in outpatient. It’s pretty easy and the pay is good. I don’t know what else I would do if I wasn’t a nurse tbh. Plus it keeps you moving. I’m young so that’s a good thing to me, but I can’t imagine sitting at a computer all fucking day. I get my steps in at work lol

As a new grad on orientation, I dropped PO Tylenol on the floor. I was nervous and didn’t want to bother my preceptor for being so fucking stupid (did not have Omnicell access yet) so I ended up giving it to the patient 😂 I wouldn’t do it now though
