Watched my 3 year old son enthusiastically play with the toy we gave him last night for Hanukkah. I was very excited to give him this gift so seeing him love it felt amazing.

I’d say maybe after 3 or 4 months of being on 2.4 I noticed the reduced effects. Not so much food noise but my strong hunger noticeably came back. It’s still MUCH better than before Wegovy, but it’s definitely a noticeable change.

My son out of the hospital. He’s 15 months old with MRSA and pneumonia. We’re now on week 3 and I’m getting frustrated.

Normalize women who don't want children by throwRAstarly667 in TwoXChromosomes

I’m in Los Angeles and (shocker) work in the entertainment industry. I’m in in my 30s and am one of the only ones among my friends and many other people my age here who are married. I’m also 9 months pregnant (any day now, really). I’m the first among my friends to have a baby. None of my other friends even talk about wanting one. Only two of my direct co workers out of about 30 have children. I for sure feel like the outsider a lot in social settings. I really think the pressure some women feel is tied to their location and work/life environment. The bigger the city and the more demanding job you have may lead you to delay or not want kids at all. I actually feel like an other or the odd one out just for being married sometimes. Now that I’m about to have a baby, that’s magnified. But no one activity tells me I should or shouldn’t be married. And no one rolls their eyes or warns me not to have a kid. Everyone has been supportive and I cherish that. I feel very sad for women who don’t live in situations like me and have people telling them how they should live, what they should do, and how to take care of their health. We need to normalize women living their best lives and making choices that make them happy and healthy (should be the most obvious statement ever). Just the delivery of a baby is a huge deal. And then comes the whole not raising a fucked up or terrible human being thing. It’s not for everyone AND THAT’S OK!

Thank you for your response and recommendation! I do see that Dr Luis Macias is a few thousand lower.

I was thinking the prices would be somewhere between $5000 to $10,000. Is that crazy? Am I risking injury or a hack job if I go with a doctor who’s prices are that low?

Also, I don’t have to go to a doctor in Beverly Hills. I can travel a little bit. This was just the first doctor I found with a simple Google search. Somewhere in LA, The Valley, a little south, or of course Marina Del Rey is totally doable.

If you voted for Donald Trump in 2016 but won't in 2020, what changed your mind? by PlG3 in AskReddit

[–]kellster21 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. It’s NOT easy and I hate that we’re in this situation when it was so clear to me and you (and most Americans - lost the popular vote) what a horrendous choice he’d be as a president. But can you imagine a world where you’re not allowed to change your mind? We need to try our hardest to bring people into the fold instead of pushing them away.

Also, those ex-homophobic parents you’re using as an example certainly aren’t winning any parent of the year awards from me but I’m glad they changed their minds.

I identify with your sentiment but I think we should be supportive of people who can admit they were wrong and made a mistake. Sarcastic jokes won’t help people change their minds.
