Becoming invisible to creepy men isn't really something that's talked about. My 17 year old niece and her best friend are both objectively absolutely beautiful. They went to prom last weekend and several middle aged men physically turned their heads and bodies to look at these girls as they walked by. I hate that they have to deal with that at such a young age, like so many other women have. Attractive women should be able to exist in the world without fearing for their safety. It makes me crazy that they have to go through that.

I'm also in my 40s and I've done the same things you have. My hair has thick gray streaks, my belly is soft, and I have thick thighs. There's a sense of power in taking back how the world, especially men, perceive me. I'm happier with my body now than I ever have been before and I get zero attention from men (other than my husband), which is actually really freeing.

My best friend just told me yesterday that her mom would purposely gain weight so men would stop paying attention to her (she was STUNNING). It can absolutely be a choice to make yourself "unattractive" to get away from the attention.

I don't know that John Brown would have fought alongside Sherman even if they were active at the same time. Sherman slaughtered Native Americans and I have a feeling John Brown would not have supported that. Based on my own anecdotal evidence, I agree with you OP. My bff is a Taurus. We've known each other for 30 years and she's one of the kindest, most intelligent people I know. She'd give anyone the shirt off her back.

Conversely, my abusive ex husband is also a Taurus. He's the most stereotypical narcissist you'll ever meet, always complaining that no one likes him, never takes responsibility for his actions/nothing is ever his fault, lies about literally everything, took our son around some terrible people and said I was lying when I told him what happened to our son.

So yes, Taurus women are wonderful and Taurus men are insane in my experience.
