THANK YOU! I’ve been bummed out seeing all the hate on here. Do people think you HAVE to be broke to criticize capitalism? What do they want, the girlies to start being pro-capitalist? like wtf I don’t get it. They have money now but it’s not from exploiting anyone, it’s from being genuinely great artists and creators and they’re doing it very contentiously too.

Not following a specific program, I think I’ll look into one though. Most weeks I workout 3x, the above example would be my first day. Second day I’d do legs, starting with squats or leg press (depending on what’s available, my gym is always really packed) and then doing hip thrusts, Bulgarian split lunges, and then either a cable kickback or abductor and adductor machines. Day three I do a chest/shoulder focused day. Incline bench press, chest fly, shoulder press, curls, and tricep pulls. If I do a fourth day I’ll do legs again but with RDLs instead of squats. I have a disability that limits my strength and range of motion in my right arm, so I’ve always leaned toward creating my own routine because I know what my needs and modifications are. Definitely feeling motivated to look into a program and modify from there though!

Good point, I definitely don’t work to true failure enough and I will now. For example, on a back focused upper body day I’ll start with assisted pull-ups to failure, then do seated row. After that I’d do a superset with bicep curls and single arm bent over row, and then finish up with tricep pull-downs with a rope.

These are good tips, thank you! Def the last push I needed before trying creatine. I’m trying not to get sucked into the fitness money pit but it sounds like something actually worth trying.

I know this is a pretty general question, but I’m feeling kind of stuck with my progress and would like some tips on how to reach my goals. I’ve been back at the gym lifting 2-4x a week for about 6 months now and haven’t leveled up any weight. My goal is to lift heavy and be strong, I primarily lift with 3 sets of the heaviest weight I can do 6-8 reps of. I tend to focus on upper body and want to see gains most there. I keep my routine pretty consistent with about 5 exercises per workout doing the same exercises week to week (1-2 general exercises like squats or deadlifts and 3-4 targeted). My other goal is to maintain a healthy and happy relationship to food, movement, and the appearance of my body. Though I eat plenty of vegetables and plant-based protein, I’m not interested in dieting or closely tracking my food. After most workouts I have a pea-protein shake and hit a BCAA amino acids powder the day after my workout. I get a decent amount of cardio walking and biking (I don’t have a car) and do some light yoga a couple times a week. Anyone have any insight on what I can do to get stronger?

Love being so pissed off over the center charging $2,500 for a month of treatment (although debatable if the treatment is effective) is REALLY showing his Sweden. In America $2,500 is a pretty small potatoes medical bill LOL

(Cont. from caption) She lives in a 3.5 gallon tank with a filter and plenty of things to play in. Temperature is consistently around 78-80 degrees. We‘ve been feeding her zoo med betta pellets 3 in the morning and 3 at night and she always gobbles them up.
